Doctor Who

It's been aired in Oz already so yeah: I do know the Face of Boe = Capt Jack. Brilliant storyline I thought.

And that bit of byplay between the two - just reinforces for me why I should be suspicious of Torchwood / Capt. Jack with regards to the Doctor.

I kind of see where you're going but what's he got to fear Jack
is his friend, and I don't think he'd let anything harmful happen
to him.
 
Jack is definately on the Doctor's side, he worships, dare I say LOVES him.
Spoilerish :There was a bit when he returned to Torchwood when he told them he had to see His Doctor.
 
Of course Jack is totally in love with the Doc, unrequited of course/and he has the doc on a pedestal and doesn't really think he's worthy of the Doc anyway. Jack has exchanged several little love/lust like comments about the Doc with Rose and especially with Martha - there was a "you too" moment with Martha inthe last episodes, and the cheesey Jack departure in the finale, was so very I adore you Doc. Still the only safe place for that hand is with the Doc.
 
Maybe just my natural paranoia showing through then. So the Doctor is one alien he definitely never will want to hunt down...

Love my new HD TV. All set for reruns of Torchwood on Ten HD and reruns of DW (in my dreams) on ABC2.

My SD DVDs have a new lease of life with the composite connection. Can only get better. Bring on the Blu-Ray Doctor DVDs!
 
Also remember that when the Doctor meets Boe in Jack's far future, it's all "old friend", so their relationship stays good.
 
Damn you Meglos, now you've got me going again with the Doctor constantly looking over his shoulder!

I doubt he'd lie about a nickname given to him in his youth.

However we are all jumping to the conclusion that because he was given that name that Jack eventually evolves into Boe. Could simply be a coincidence.

Anyhoo ... for those who like that sort of thing, that porn movie featuring Daleks is on e-bay. Not giving a link because I doubt it's within the rules, but if you want it, it's there, on e-bay, for you to find.

Well re the Face of Boe, Russell TD has said how excited DT & JB are about Boe and that they have both concluded Capt Jack becomes Boe. But RTD laughs at that and just says well we will see....................
Anyone watching Torchwood? Just 'researched' first 3 episodes, yet to watch.

So we're in for a nice little surprise then if RTD decides that Boe and Jack aren't the same.

Sorry Burn, can you PM the eBay link please. I searched under "Daleks" and "Daloids" and came up with nothing. Not that I'd buy... :eek:. Oh damn, who am I kidding...

ABC2 - Friday 8:30pm - Dr Who Series 1 from the start.

Yes, that means "Rose".
 
I have the 3 series boxsets, I really must find time to watch them all again, along with all the DVD features.
