...hahaha!... that guitar scene is hilarious!... and him introducing Missy as "the wicked step-mother" was as funny as!... (that snake spoke with a forked tongue methinks!)... lol!... cheers.

...hahahaha!... of course he is... (I've come back to sanity again... well as much as I'm able to at least lol!)... but The Doctor not saving him may have been the catalyst to his hatred of The Doctor (and all Timelords and Gallifrey) possibly?... has it really been fully explained on why Davros hates him so much before?... my mind is a blank on his past Timeline at the moment hence my questions lol!... methinks that I'm rambling on again lol!... cheers.
In 'Genesis of the daleks' the time lords sent tom baker's doctor back in time to skaro before the daleks could become a menace so that he could stop them. That is when the doctor and davros first met. Davros was a scientist on that planet hence why he was able to create the daleks.

...aaaaah!... **the penny drops and now Sticky remembers**... yes of course he did!... (thanks for helping my old feeble mind reepbot)... lol!... much appreciated... cheers.
..."Davros is my arch enemy... why would I want to talk to him?"... states The Doctor...
...'no wait!... hang on a minute!... DAVROS is your arch enemy now?"... Missy says with hurt feelings... "I'll scratch his eye out!"...
...pure gold!...

... cheers.

...yes I remember that now and that's the traditional Timeline for them to meet as you say reepbot and it looks like The Moff may be rewriting it for these episodes with introducing him to Davros as a kid and I'm now thinking that when he threw his Sonic Screwdriver to him before he realised that it was him that maybe because of doing that then... Davros could've possibly used the Sonic Screwdriver's technology to perhaps enable Davros to build the Daleks in the first place?... yeah I know... I'm rambling again... that is a long stretch isn't it?... lol!... cheers.
...I loved that while they thought that they were on a Space station and didn't realise that they were actually on Skaro until they became 'environmentally aware' of their surroundings was so well done... to see Missy actually scared of being there was a great touch... it shows that it's not only just The Doctor that has that fear... cheers.

...jeez I like Clara... I'm going to hate it when we lose her... (if we haven't lost her for good in this episode that is)... when Missy said to Clara at that meeting place when the old couple walked past and they were walking their dog ... "see that couple over there... you're the puppy!"... I went to water... what a perfect smack down lol!... cheers.
It was great, a nice parallel to that time Mickey realised he was filling the same role as K9 - "Oh my god I'm the tin dog!"
...that scene where Davros reminded The Doctor of his past dealings with Davros and Skaro by replaying the past Doctors voices and actually showing Tom Bakers Doctor was a very poignant moment to me... it showed the intimacy of their extreme hatred of each other without shouting and screaming at each other for a change... that was so well written that piece... cheers.

...oh yeah... I'd forgotten about that... I guess that you could feel like that being around The Doctor like that all of the time eh?... cheers.

...if seeing Skaro like that wasn't enough to send me into raptures... when I saw all of the different generations of Daleks I had a mental orgasm!... to see these images just blew me away totally... brilliant!... cheers.

Yes that was nice to see.

Just watched it. Really enjoyed it. Great to see Missy back. Daleks and Davros were suitably menacing.
It might be just me but that episode felt really intimate.

...I totally agree about the intimacy of the show... this show had so many different dynamics happening at the same time and interweaving them all together seamlessly... I loved it!... cheers.

Oh my...
The episode was fantastic!
My thoughts in no particular order (mainly as I think of them)
Great to see the return of the Shadow Proclamation and a surprise to see that the Shadow Architect still being played by Kelly Hunter. ALSO! The judoon!!!

(Thanks to wikipedia for telling me her name)
Right....
Nice idea about Skaro being invisible.. loved how the Doctor described the predicament with on word and Missy knew exactly what he was talking about.
Still not sure why it was called "The Magician's Apprentice."
Great to see that Clara has the official trust of UNIT and worked as a bit of a "Dr. Watson" character, being a new set of eyes on a problem.
And I guess the Doctor is dying... again... no surprise there, he's been dying ever since 1963.
Michelle Gomez acts in such a beliveable way for the Mistress that I will never look at her the same way again.
I giggled (shame on me) outloud when she said the purpose of the 8-9 snipers.
Do you think the actor for Davros's manservant/slave/bitch/whatever had to act with tight strings on his face the whole time?
Whats the bet there was no acting involved when the Doctor played the guitar. I think thats just what Peter Capaldi does on his weekends and they decided to incorporate it into the story. I have to say I missed the usual clothes he wears, I hope its not gone for good...
OH MY GOD MY FAVOURITE LINE:
When Clara and the UNIT scientific Advisor (forgotten her name) were talking and science women said something about the doctor and Clara Replies with something along the lines of:
"You can't do that! The Doctor will go all Scottish!"

Best moment.
That my novel completed... such a great episode!

I just loved how creepy it was when Clara and Missy were walking around and all the Daleks were following them with their eyes... sooo creepy...if seeing Skaro like that wasn't enough to send me into raptures... when I saw all of the different generations of Daleks I had a mental orgasm!... to see these images just blew me away totally... brilliant!... cheers.

...I am so fascinated by this final shot... the fact that The Doctor abhors the thought of anyone using guns or weapons of any kind to kill anyone let alone a child makes my mind boggle at the thought of him killing Davros as a child... and also that he mouthed the word 'EXTERMINATE!" with so much anger just blows my mind!... I can't wait until the second half of this story... incredible!... cheers.

So any theories on how Missy came back?

The Sisterhood of Karn ressurected Missy so that she could help the doctor.
