Yep, it's only a week later.

Stay out of this thread after tonight if you don't want spoilers though, some of us will be watching it after 5am.
 
It's a no go so far, been trying to watch it since just after 5 and the servers must be overloaded, I can't get any more than 20 seconds into it.
 
Best ever Moffat episode I reckon, he's hit his creative stride with this one.

Wow, just reading UK forums, I didn't watch any previews or read anything to this new series - and wow so that the........new companion

I thought it was brilliant. And yes kxk, they kept that secret so well, no one was expecting it.
 
It was a decent episode. But...

Moffat needs to get over this little obsession with characters saying the name of the show. ("DOCTOR WHOOOOOO?????!!!"). It's just lame and awkward to watch.

However...

I was completely surprised to see the new companion introduced, I didn't think she was going to appear until Christmas! She's pretty cool too, I like her.
 
What do you guys want to do with spoilers in this thread? I'm thinking just make it a spoiler thread and discuss the new episodes openly?
 
OMG that was so much fun.........

Love the glimpse we got of the new actress for companion playing another character. She looks awesome.

Human shape Daleks cool.......

Was the redhead Dalek a future Amy?

She said something about looking him up in their files.

Souffle Girl made all the Daleks forget who the Doctor is? Not sure I buy that but there you go it was there.

Cool episode...... Howcome the nanobots didn't convert the Doctor?

So many questions. Awesome episode.

Because he was wearing a wrist thingy that the Daleks gave him. Rory had one too, so did Amy but she lost hers.

I liked Oswin.
I hope Clara has a similar type of character/attitude. I can see what they mean when they said she complimented the Matt Smith personality wise. I think they will be great together.
 
IMO talking openly about the episodes after they've aired in the UK should be fine, it's up to us whether we look in the few hours before we watch it online, or the week before it's on TV.
 
I LOVED it!!! It will be sad to see Amy & Rory go, as I have really enjoyed their characters, but I think they have gone as far as they can.
 
I agree el' coopo. The scene where they revealed the reason they were breaking up was amazingly well done. I'm sure it wasn't just me who was only just holding back the tears at "don't you dare say that" (that Rory loves Amy more than she loves him) & the Demon's Run consequences. Incredibly mature stuff for DW, & it's all the better for it.

I think you'll find that was the case only up until the time the Dr gave Amy his while she was sleeping.

When he was doing his whole roam around the prison thing after that, he had no wrist thingy.

So, MC's question is quite valid and still need to answering. Perhaps it will be explained in a future episode - by a Dalek bursting "Alien" style out of the Dr's stomach or head. :)

I LOVE Oswin/Clara! And if she's a future version of Clara then hopefully she has the same attitude etc. I am thoroughly sick of Amy and Rory :(
