Why don't they at least bring out a couch and a roof to that stage? I can't believe they're using the entry path still as the interview and hosting space?
Did they use up too much space for the house this year and don't have a place to host? If they fixed that part, it would feel so much more settled in and comfy, at home. And will give the host time to sit down and actually have a proper chat.
I've only watched a bit and tired of seeing audience members limbs all over the staircase.
Fair enough, but they're leaving so much out of the highlights. They used to be 30 minutes and easily covered the drama from the previous day. These are ~60 minute episodes and we're getting extended coverage of Holly and Colin and not seeing other things happen, like hm's getting told off.Because it was cringe and not worth devoting airtime to
love her or hate her, Holly is the star of the show and delivering all the content
As I have stated before, I suspect this year is the testing grounds, to see if the show can hold down good ratings. Shorter season, smaller budget. I think we should begin to see more money spent on the show if it gets renewed (especially on an indoor stage).
I have to admit, I'm watching the live stream more than I am watching the edited episodes, because quite frankly, there's so much that you miss out on and you see less of what the housemates are really like. Production could easily decide to cut things, splice a few clips together to depict a housemate saying something when they actually said something else, and they could put more focus on the "storylines" they want you to see (such as the whole Holly-Colin romance angle).
In any case, back to the budget, and with a longer season possible next year and possibly having more to spend on an upgraded house, dedicated companion shows like a Friday Night Live/Games equivalent, would be another step in the right direction. They're going to take small steps each year, see how it impacts the ratings, and go from there. Worst possible case is ratings crash by the third season of the Network 10 deal (2027) and the show gets put on the shelf again for the next 4-5 years afterwards.
Idk how true that is without a list of credits to back it up. MAFS is starting up in a couple of months and I believe filming is still taking place?Didn't some one say several MAFS producers are now involved?
Mia is a lovely person, no doubt, but she does just babble on and on. Talks for the sake of talking.Saving Mia this week. I like a housemate who annoys others but who I like the vibes of. Vesna and Priya come to mind. (Also Alanna probably safe with Jane in some danger I think. But I like Mia out of the three).
Pete was actually a producer on MAFSIdk how true that is without a list of credits to back it up. MAFS is starting up in a couple of months and I believe filming is still taking place?
That's not really a Big Brother first. The housemates were left completely alone one year when there was a COVID outbreak...I’ve started losing faith, I’m expecting BB to evict someone himself in a “all new big brother Australian world first”, it’s not like they’ve done a great job hiding production shenanigans thus far..
That sums me up to a keyTrue.
It's always interesting for me to read the many, many comments in forums from the (lots of) people who dislike a particular HM. The sheer fact that there are so many comments ... and they keep on coming ... means that this HM is getting a lot of air-time. Viewers can't help themselves and keep on watching to see what this HM will do next, just so they can comment again on their dislike for them. Holly is a good example of this.
Personally, I don't like her personality, but it is fascinating to watch to see what she does and says next and how other HMs (and the viewing public) react to that.
(That said, I do agree that it is annoying that a particular HM seems to hog all the air-time. Holly (and Colin) is/are certainly doing that at the moment, seemingly at the expense of us seeing other important HM interactions in the house.)
Agree. I'm finding myself needing to take breaks from the live stream now because the behaviour in there is just so consistently awful.I’m not really vibing this cast the more I see of them
