Episode Day 89 (Fri 25/10/13): Daily Show

Those without sin cast the first stone!

I find it really strange that despite the majority of Australian BB viewers thinking Jade and Ed are boring together and that he is using her now that the other HMs are saying it they are being called names. If we as viewers can see it clear as day and come to forums like here to bitch about how annoying it is why cant the HMs be allowed to complain since they are the ones that have to live with it everyday! I know not everyone is sucked in but there are a lot of tweets and comments dissing Drew especially but I have seen far worse things written here than ive heard him say.

To me tonight Ed appeared to be more affectionate but I question his motives and timing, hes up against Tim and Drew so I predicted he would step it up and try to be more love dovey with Jade so that fans will vote to keep them together. Why now tonight is he saying they are in a relationship when only a couple of days ago he said they are not in a relationship they are just hanging out.

We have to consider that Tahan Drew Tim and Boog are living with Ed and think he is using her and she will get her heart broken and Australia thinks the same thing that it is highly likely its the truth of the situation so I don't care when they bitch about Jade and Ed coz I have done it. The only people able to call them bitches or backstabbers or bullies are those who have never made any similar comments about them.

Id be curious how many people would fall into this category!

Yeah was a poor show tonight, I guess for ratings purposes it is the worst night for them so probably don't care as much putting someone with a bit more variety in it

Heidi gave Drew the superpower that week, and Drew swapped Matt for Jade during his showdown win, after Ed put Jade up instead of Tim. that week was also the fake evicton week when Ben was saved with the most save votes .
Matt was evicted and sugar sisters had 2nd least amount of saves that week.:)

I think Ed sees Jade as 'friends with benefits' and she has slowly worn him down, and doesn't want a real relationship on the outside, from how he acts and what he's said but doesnt want to hurt her or look bad to the public. he's stepping it up in front of the others now JadEd are up for eviction, with his brother hinting it was coming across as fake by mentioning Tim and Drew opinions on it..
all the housemates are talking about JadEd...

Drew has turned quite dark side lately, hasn't he? I've also noticed them reference their four-man group a couple of times this ep, even though two weeks ago they were all denying it and making Mikkayla look crazy for mentioning "OMG THE GROUPS~~" ... they're clearly there, and Ed's group has been on the losing side for the past few weeks. Losing Drew would equal the balance a bit, but it really doesn't matter at this point since we're so close to the end. Voting for who you want to win is more important now than voting strategically depending on who you want to see evicted.

I still can't see how anyone can think Ed has feelings for Jade - if he did he surely could speak up to her about how he's feeling ... he could surely say he's just not comfortable saying the L word so soon but he definitely wants to pursue what they have outside of the house but he can't even give her that ... how does that signal he has any feelings for her

I just see him showing affection as one of his cards now ... he's going to play this to the end in the hope it will save him ... if Jade goes first he will suddenly become the blokey bloke and much about with Tim and Drew having fun ... another card ...

I dont see what the road block is in his head that he can't express some feeling towards Jade to put her out of her misery but instead the gutless wonder keeps spouting the same tired line about not wanting to disappoint her ...

Ed isn't different. Jade knows that if he loved her he would have said it, and she is starting, starting to see through the haze, however much she doesn't want to, but she has started to.

Yea I want Drew to leave, never liked him. And I think he might, cos everytime Ed is up and the odds show he's fav to leave, he never does (might be a good thing). I do also find that Ed might also have feelings for Jade, definitely in recent weeks- the little mannerisms and stuff indicate it at least. I don't know why people bag Jade out for, she has accepted that she knows it may not work at all on the outside but she hopes it does- a girl can only dream! And Ed has stated that he's not sure either, so they'll wait and see. Drew can't talk, his and Tully's relationship was the toxic one- they were together all the time (well from what we're shown), whereas Jade and Ed at least aren't hanging off each other.

Haha, you're almost correct! She's not my favourite but I don't hate her either. She's a young sweet naive girl and yeah, I'm sooo over the bitching.

Hypothetically, if one of Mikk, Jade, Ed or Maddie had wanted to join in their 'fun' games, it's like that moment at school where you join a group playing a game and slowly they disperse cos they don't really want you there.

You make a very good point and I never thought about it like that. Very good post and one that leaves me questioning myself and reflecting on my need to rant.
 
I think Jade isnt so much realising it but she's covering all bases so that if it doesn't work she can say "oh I never really believed it would - I said so too" ... it would be a pride thing

She's laid herself out on the line for everyone to see and because Ed's such a plank who can blame her for not wanting to look like a total fool if it doesn't work out for her ...

It would be lovely to think Jade could have her Prince Charming ... but the guy is not a Prince ... He's Chump Charmless

I got that feeling as well. In my opinion both sides were to blame for this division, because I certainly haven't seen the "fun group" invite the others as much as they claim they have. In fact, Timmy said tonight that there never are invites with their shenanigans... they just happen (which is true)! They should have all made a better effort to integrate their groups instead of waiting for the other camp to do something.
