12:16am - Heavy snoring in the bedroom. Likely Abiola.

 

[Danny]

8:35am AEDT - HM's are still asleep. Snoring soundly.

9:30 It seemed the production crew were running though a series of camera tests? Now fouled on some shoes

10:15am - A couple of housemates sound like they're waking up, but for the most part they're all mostly asleep.

 

[Tim]

10:26am - Vinnie holds his teddy. Birds are chirping.

Moments earlier he whispered "so bored so bored so bored" into his microphone.



Ed is wake and looking super groggy.

 

[Tim]

10:33am - Various housemates starting to rouse. There is genuine shock that they have slept for so long (almost 12 hours).

It must be pouring rain because there are several comments about it. Jane says "they're going to need to have a roof out there" (the eviction stage for tonight).

HMs feel that something isn't quite right - they slept so long and the lights still haven't been put on yet. There was construction noise heard at various points in the night (maybe it was a roof actually being built).

10:37am- Allana and Coco talk about loud bangs during the night and if it's construction or not. BB throws a flashbang and turns the lights on.

10:48am - Alana asks Mia if she's going ok because she still lives with her parents and might not be used to shared living. Mia says she's good and she's having a lot of fun, she was just really tired yesterday.

The HMs comment positively on Jane's physique. She believes she's lost weight since being in the house. She contemplates getting some work done on her "saggy bits".

10:55 Colin admits to an ADHD diagnosis.

10:57am- Allana says that BB told them to take the morning slow like yesterday.

 

[Tim]

10:54am - A brief chat about charities. Everyone is already very familiar with what Conor wants to do to raise money for Tourette's awareness. Colin wants to raise money or awareness of ADHD or people who are neurodivergent "there are people out there who are like I can't control what I'm saying either". Colin comments that the public might not know he has ADHD, Jane replies "well they do now!". There's a comment from Colin that he's allowed to talk about this today, he wasn't yesterday because it was the rest day.

Alana relays to the other housemates that Big Brother has told them that "we'll take the morning slow" like yesterday.

10:57am - Bruce realises that some of the regular BB staff will come back today and realise that something has gone on with him and Coco (possible showmance incoming). Colin believes that BB will be focusing in on Bruce and Coco being a couple.

Bruce told BB in the diary room that he didn't want to form a couple with Coco, and she didn't either, but they are just so bored it's going to be inevitable.

11:05am- The backyard is open. Housemates come out to inspect the damage from the storms. Holly makes fun of Bruce saying "smashed plant"

 

[Tim]

11:13am - Talk turns to whether Ed wants kids and him having a partner in the future. Ed makes a big deal of saying he's "not going to settle" for some one but when he's asked for his partner checklist he says he doesn't have one and he's easy. Coco says that maybe he needs to be more flexible in finding a partner.

Jane tells a rambling story about how older people in her golf club thought LOL meant "lots of love". Bruce likes to sign off his text messages to mates with "love ya" out of fear that they might die and it's the last words he's sent to them.

11:25am- Holly tells Bruce that she was yelled at for eating 4 Jatz last night even though she doesn't eat that much. Holly is nervous about tonight and that she will be going tonight and how it will play out in the house. Bruce tells her she is fine.

 

[Tim]

11:25am - Holly is in the bedroom complaining to Bruce about the food situation. She says it's "lord of the flies out there" (housemates scrambling for breakfast). She is angry that people complainted she ate 4 Jatz crackers last night "when I barely eat much at all".

Holly asks Bruce about the eviction tonight. Bruce says he feels she's pretty safe, he "hopes that Michael is safe", then "that's all I'll say about that".

They both start bitching about Jane. Bruce thinks that Jane is "fake" and "breaks down over the smallest things".

Shortly after, Jane enters the room and Bruce has to call out "what do you think about tonight Jane?" to warn Holly that's she's in the room.



The three of them talk about how when they watched previous seasons of Big Brother, they always found the loud housemates the most annoying. Anna from a previous season of BBAU is part of Jane's extended family and just turned 40, but the feed is cut.

11:33AM - Mia and Jane rejoice that Abiola isn't in bed and Mia talks about how even outside of work, she loves to wear red.

 

[Tim]

11:34am - Abi and Coco will be shocked if Michael is evicted, they think that he's a ragebaiter and the public will want to see him stay in the house to stir up trouble. They think it's most likely going to be Holly to be evicted because she's pretty and rubbed everyone up the wrong way.

The main BB voice comes on and tells Abi and Coco to "hold the chat", presumably they want to film it later on?

11:37AM Housemates rejoice because the BB they know and love is back.

 

[Tim]

11:41am - Bruce is reflecting with Ed about how close he's getting with Coco. Ed believes that Bruce and Coco have progressed from friends to cuddling at a "regular rate" (which is a week, according to him). He compares this to Colin and Holly who went "too fast" in his opinion.

Ed thinks that Bruce and Coco together seems fine because even though there's 5/6 years difference between them, Bruce "looks older".

He can't finish that thought because he's called to the diary room.
