Big Brother calls all HMs to the living room.
"Housemates, listen carefully. After just one week in the Big Brother house, something has become very clear. This is a house in chaos. Decisions are not being made. Directions are being followed. And, quite, frankly, no one is in charge. That changes now."
Vinnie butts in and starts saying: "I knew it, I knew it!"
Big Brother continues: "From this moment forward, Big Brother is unveiling a new and highly coveted position..."
Vinnie interrupts again: "It's Head of House!"
Big Brother goes on: "...one that will alter the balance of power in this house. One Head Housemate. The role of Head Housemate comes with great responsibility and also great power and privilege."
It's apparent that the role of the Head Housemate includes power such as allocating chores, using the double bed in the bedroom and is immune from being nominated for the week, as well as holding some sort of ability to influence the next nominations.
"Housemates, you may be wondering how this position of privilege is determined..." (a few HMs suggest it's going to be a challenge) "...Big Brother has chosen one person to make this decision. Someone who is not directly affected by it."
The HMs immediately guess Michael, and Mia says: "Oh great, he's coming back to haunt us..."
Big Brother reveals that the evictee - in this case, Michael - chooses the Head Housemate each week. Tonight, Michael has chosen... Holly.
(Hilariously, while waiting for Big Brother to announce the Head Housemate, some suggestions fly around the living room. Some guess it's going to be Emily, while others joke that it's going to be Mia. Everyone laughs, with Mia saying: "Yeah, yeah... I would be the last one (he'd pick).")
Everyone seems completely stunned that he has chosen Holly. Someone says: "no one saw that coming" and "plot twist!"
(Yeah... the producers didn't talk him into that decision after the eviction show at all...)
