Episode Day 71 (Mon 8/10) Daily Show 90m/8:45pm *SPOILERS*

I was having a snooze and woke up about 10 minutes into the show starting here. I honestly really liked this episode, so it was suprising when I found so many people here bagging it out lol. It got very soppy around the halfway point but it was sweet. I'll pull a riddim and give some intitial impressions:

-Wow I warmed up to Maddie this episode which I thought was never going to happen. I felt sorry for her that she got put up against Boog who was clearly the more boisterous of the two (I guess Justynn had a similar fate, except for the opposite reasons). She seems really sweet and quite insightful.

-I thought the yellow colour dye prank Boog and Tim pulled was hilarious, if kind of gross.

-Nathan was a bit of a yawn HM, but at least he went out with a bang and gave some significance to his time in the house. I can't say for certain because we didn't see much of Justynn, but I think the two female intruders were a better combo than the male ones so maybe this is the best outcome.

-Ben. Oh my god. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND A FUCKING WORD WHEN HE WAS SOBBING. I was getting all teary eyed when the HMs were giving their speeches and just burst out laughing when Ben stood up. There is no way that was genuine emotion... right? Though his comment about voting Maddie because she's a QLD girl was funny.

-Jade surprised me when she reassured Maddie she would vote for her. Even if she does feel threatened by Maddie (which I doubt - just another fabricated story by the producers), she's too sweet of a girl to let that affect her interactions with her. And is it me or is Ed starting to reciprocate Jade's feelings more? Maybe they were just running on an emotional high after Nathan's speech, but Ed's really starting to confuse the hell out of me.

-Tim. Argh. He's starting to grate me big time. He really did peak too early me thinks. Still like him, but the way he goes about situations is so transparent now. Call me paranoid, but is it possible that he predicted Boog would be Australia's favourite, so he voted to save Maddie and said he loved Boog to save face with both of them? Sounds crazy, but his vote seemed REALLY fishy to me.

-Tahan. She won me over by sleeping through Ben going to the toilet. She didn't do anything and I love her even more. GO GIRL.

Lol did everyone forget when Drew teamed up with Ed to get rid of Tim, and I'm pretty sure Drew nominated Tim before. So....

No Drew has never nominated Tim. Drew has nominated Ed though but not recently. I would be surprised if Drew nominated Tim this week but I think he senses that Tim is starting to target him since the night the female intruders arrived and even a week before that Tim made a couple of remarks. Drew was just worried that Tim was playing him a little... Ed and Tim always moaned to Drew about each other and he has to try and agree or disagree to keep in both their good books. Drew likes Tim more though.
Drew didn't want to get rid of Tim he said to someone before last eviction that he would be devastated if Tim left. It will be interesting to see if Tim can share Boog with Drew, or start or really cut him out now that Drew saved Boog since he likes her company.

Hello all, can I just say that this Big Brother is so much better than our UK version even with all the hype. As long as Drew stays I will be happy. By the way who was the one housemate who voted for Boog?

Boog's voice grates like nails on a chalkboard, fun housemate but at times annoying. Maddie seems sweet, but they haven't shown enough to make me root for her at this point. Glad Nathan left, I think he really didn't care for any of the housemates after the Sugar Sisters left and wanted to go, so bye bye waste of a male intruder spot. Not sure of where the dynamics in the house are now other than it seems Ed, Jade and Mikkayla on one side Tahan on the other and Tim and Drew navigating the two especially Drew. But Tim may be playing both sides also hard to tell with him. Which leaves Maddie, Boog and Ben kind of out of any of them. Ben was particularly annoying tonight with his blubbering when he voted, awww poor Bennie comfort him when his arse isn't even on the line then. Barf.

he's probably remembered that in earlier series they did Diary entries we were able to read ... and appreciates its just another way to put himself and his ideas/strategies forward with the public
He's up for eviction so he's trying whatever he can (Boom, Diary) to hopefully get some people saving him
He's probably just lost all hope of Drew's fans voting for him once Drew leaves the house ...

The HM's said Tim is the one who goes to the Diary room the most..I think Tim just trying to get more spotlight by highlighting it as diary entry LOL Tim likes to talk to BB, and probably gets some feedback on how he is doing as well.
Ben talk to his photos, so BB can get some feedback on how he is feeling. Ben probably doesn't know that BB often shows those chats to his photos.

I really don't see him doing himself any favours with this, especially basically telling the audience to get Drew out so he can get with Boogs. Bull, he wanted Drew out as it was and he's just paying up this "I'M IN LOOOOOVE BIG BRUTHA!!" angle to make it happen. Unfortunately the audience are starting to see through it and it really saddens me.

yeah I'm a bit disappointed in Tim at times this past week. I think he will be happier if Ed goes but as long as his nomination record is intact, he will be happy.
I wonder why BB didn't show Tim upset and alone in the bathroom ,the other night when Boog didn't kiss him in the spa even for a dare, and said she wasn't into him. He seems to bounce back though later the next day, and still confesses his love LOL.

That Pee prank that Boog and Tim pulled in the spa was funny did they really pee in the bath they shared together the other night, or was that a joke too?

Just finished here. I really wasn't into the show tonight. It should have been one of the most exciting shows of the series, but I was tuning out. Also, why didn't anyone try to stop Nathan? You would think they would try to talk him out of it?

tim is so not into boog. I think he finds her entertaining and fun but made it clear in the diary room that his strategy is now "gee maybe boog will love me back if drew wasn't here". Putting a target on someone else to save himself. Smart but i think it was a bit see through this time....ya need to be more subtle timmy.

agree with those who said there was "chemistry" between ed and maddy....or not really chemistry but i've never seen ed actually have a good, natural, un-forced laugh with jade. I don't think he'd go there but it shows how he's not really that comfortable around jade.
jade is feeling threatened for sure, the only reason she asked maddy "who" are you attracted to is because she was worried it might be ed.

both the girl intruders really fitted in so easily and have been great to watch, unlike nathan who really wasn't happy. It must have been disappointing for him that the experience didn't live up to his expectations but being an intruder will always be hard and coming in with justinandout would have been even harder since the vibe of the house was more hostile.

i can't believe it was nathan...who would have thought....said no one, ever.

yeah Ed said in his vote to save Maddie that he liked being in the task together the night before.

Drew,Ed and Maddie made the fort and slept outside. Drew told Tim, that Ed was so much fun, joking and laughing and he saw a different side to Ed but the next morning he was back to being himself and talking religion etc. later he was sunbathing as usual with Jade.
Ed has mentioned he's Catholic and religion a few times..I wonder if that's why he worries about keeping his good guy image, and feels bad about having too much fun?

Jade did seem relieved that Madaline said she liked Drew, and I cant' blame her LOL she said to Ed and Nathan that she hated being together with Tim and Boog during the task, saying she was a good girl, teachers pet and didn't want to break the rules, so I think that's another reason she chose Madaline to stay over Boog.

Tonight's episode was the worst episode of BB I have ever seen. I have completely lost faith in the show. The show is not a reality show, it's staged junk! Why suspend the live feed? Who cares if Nathan goes?? You've lost my respect Big Brother. Fuck Channel 9 and it's "reality crap" Adios BB if it does come back in 2014 because I can confidently say that I won't be watching.

I figure the target is on the back of Ben and Boog.

Ben voted most likely to win by housemates puts him in some danger.
Boog having the vote of Australian Public puts her in danger when time comes.
This means Mikki may have a few weeks left as Boog and Maddy will be up for eviction in two weeks when Mikki is likely to be nommed.
If Ed doesn't go this week, which I feel he wont, story line people, Tahan in danger, but we all hope we can offload Ben.
The story about him being a comedian has hit hard. My sister in law saw the link on FB and rang me , I knew about it from here, so despite the attempts to conceal it the jig might be up, one hopes. He is seen as doing less in the house of late.
The build up for tonight was looooong, and Nathan falling on his sword was noble enough, but not to warrant all the cloak and dagger shit.

Tim nominated Drew because he knew Jade had some super power which she would use to save Ed and Drew. It was a calculated vote he knew would be wasted. Sure he didn't know what power Jade had but figured something like what others have had would be in order. Tim played it and most of you very well

Hadn't thought about that but I dont think Tim knew she would save Drew, maybe just suspected it? I think he more likely thought she would try and save Ed and Mikkayla first.
I think maybe because they only found out that they couldn't nominate Nathan, that maybe Drew was a last minute choice, since Tim never really gave much of an answer as to why to BB.
But now he's saying to get rid of Drew, so he can have a chance with Boog...Boog has already told him she is not romantically interested in him. So maybe Tim is worried about Boog and Drew spending time together the other day, and now Drew voting to save her.
