While I would have liked Nathan to stay (he was a different voice in the house, we just didn't hear it often), he made the right choice. I know that when I am really uncomfortable I don't present my best side, so why let Australia remember you as something different from what you usually are. Go home, be happy and let someone else have that chance.
I wanted Justynn to stay more though, I wonder how he feels now.

Not quite sure of the timeline how it came that Nathan offered to go and the girls were voted. Did he offer before or after ??

AND there is no way they'd have given Nathan a short time to decide, he'd have spoken to the counsellor and they usually make them wait 24 hours before they decide. Most of them sleep on it and feel better the next day.

I thought he said he decided when they were doing the intruder challenges? That was Friday according to the LF. And the LF was cut yesterday afternoon.

So if both the HMs and the public had voted to save the same girl, we/they still would have been stuck with her? Fun.

I reckon BB asked each HM in the DR at some point after Nathan went in there and before the 'vote' to see who they'd pick. And that's why they made them vote like this and explain their reasons in front of the girls whereas they didn't with the guys - because they knew the majority of HMs were picking Maddie yet the public picked Boog and Nathan was out.

All to try to be dramatic.

One thing that bothers me is why does Nathan decide who stays in his place? They could have still evicted an intruder? All feeling a bit contrived, like this could have been a pre determined storyline?

Well, it makes sense doesn't it? Its current, someone is being evicted (Boog) so he is simply going in her place. He can't really pick anyone else.
