I just think Priya likes to make a big deal out of things that reflect her flaws and flips it around to make the other person look bad.

That makes no sense.

David basically said Priya talks down to people and is condescending because she's a teacher - the opposite reason of why she is a teacher.

His comments weren't in a way where he was telling her to work on yourself, it was a mean-spirited attack.

Don't forget David has confessed to starting arguments just to get people to get annoyed, so don't act like Priya is an over-reactor.
