Episode Day 59 (5/11/14) Daily show

Off topic for a moment, but did anyone see the wonderfully deep, stirring, heartfelt and sometimes funny eulogy given by Noel Pearson at the Gough Whitlam Memorial yesterday? He even mentioned a Monty Python sketch.
No! What station was it on? I'll try to find video to watch it!

No I didn't but I heard that is was a very good speech. I grew up in a family of teachers during the Whitlam years and did a year of teacher's college myself. I also remember watching and loving the 'It's Time' campaign . Gough was an influence in my voting future.[DOUBLEPOST=1415200559][/DOUBLEPOST]

I want Skye to stay to the end. The show will be boring without her. I still like her and I think she was always very clear with Leo. It's just a house fling. She said she wanted to be single when she left the house.
But I can see how she is annoying.

Maybe the new kids will pick up the slack if she leaves.

I have always seen these kind of long interactions between housemates before in previous episodes. Even when Cat and Lawson werre still in the house every daily show had some normal housemate interactions.

How is housemate interactions real, but Cat and Lawson interacting not real considering it is basically the same thing? Housemates interacting. Cat and Lawson interacting. Cat and Lawson were housemates. So they had normal interactions on the show. Obviously housemates don't inteact with each other quite the same way like Cat and Lawson did, but they talk to each other like Cat and Lawson did, and they spoke their thoughts and feelings to each other like Cat and Lawson did.
The problem was for me, that the same Clawson interactions got repeated over and over again, at the expense of interactions we hadn't seen (between any housemates).

It was on ABC1 from about 9 30 a.m. Qld time until Wednesday about 12 20 p.m. Qld time. It ran overtime into the midday news programme. Noel Pearson is one hell of a good speaker. I think he is a qualified lawyer, so probably gets plenty of practise, but this oration at a Memorial was brilliant.

Guess we will see how much of his heartbreak is because of losing a share of Skyes popularity. I feel she has been honest with him and did a great job of setting his expectations straight today. I hope he takes her advice and opens up to other people in the house and not just rely on her.
Me too. Leo is actually good value when he's not hiding in the gym or Skye's arms. Maybe he is just shy, as we saw in the ,'Chat Up a Canadian' How-To. (Although for a shy person, he does look into the camera a lot.)

Oh GAWD...Penny's FACE what has happened to it???????

It looks like a mask...or something
It's always looked like that to me.
