Episode DAY 57 (Mon 23/09/2013) Live Eviction #7 (95m)

Tully was such a different person tonight. I actually liked her tonight. Maybe we have all got her a little wrong and have been reading/been fed a completely different person than who Tully really is!????

How hard is it to do an interview and come off decent? It's harder to maintain that facade in real life. The true Tully is not the person you saw on stage for 5 minutes when she knew to be on her best behavior.

bleachy_dude just for you...

random thoughts...

- sonia was dressed like the wife of a grecian senator in 500 bc. not up to her scifi outfit standards, but better than many

- the first hour felt like drully... ben... drully... ben... drully... ben. so really started zoning out. neither one is interesting any more. seriously, ben benefitted from being off-screen for a bit around weeks 3-5. his shtick is old and tired and doesn't evolve or change. he's not entertaining, he's as deep as a puddle. what's the appeal?

- eviction time: yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! me and mrs. riddim figure drew will need 48 hours to shake it off then will begin circulating as a more normal HM again. that said, he's clearly a bit of a chameleon, so hopefully he falls in with the fun and easy-going group, rather than the uptight, bitchy group (or, what's left of it)

- but me and mrs. riddim spent more time thinking about who might be on 49 and 34. we were both shocked it was the sisters on the higher number. more than just a tactical vote against tully, we see it as a a sign that a large block of voters are rejecting the drama (or, at least, the tul & tah drama). or, as I put it in freudian terms, the super-ego seems to be defeating the id this season.

- tully was really switched on in her interview, but you could see the veneer crack as succesive clip packages were played. the BB production team could not have played that better, if their intention was to prepare her for the storm to come.

- that said, I miss the tough questions and the awkward contestant silences and veiled anger of yesteryear. especially where we have a HM who has broken social norms egregiously, we want that sense of justice that they've been made "to pay" - on stage by being made uncomfortable, nothing more. seriously, where's the hard questions? call her out on some of her spin? just a little?!

- it was also clear she had no idea about tahlia, so the worst is yet to come. at this point, i'm happy to forget about her and let her lie in the bad she's made, hopeful that she might learn something from the experience. it seems likely that, for now, it's meltdown time and she'll be missing from the after party.

- the intruders sound interesting on the surface, but having been burned too many times, i'm giving each about a 30% chance of actually being interesting.

- although I would have said tully leaving, on its own, is enough to change the house dynamics significantly, and would probably be a good enough treatment for late-season doldrums, but I think the intruder timing is actually not too bad. it should accelerate drew's "recovery", and it should invigorate tim in a way that tully's leaving, alone, couldn't do.

I already hate Justynn and I've only seen a third of his face for 5 seconds. Leave Tim alone.

I saw that promotion video of Justynn (not done by Big Brother but something he did himself it seems) that was found on the web and actually kind of liked him. He's quite handsome at least.

BB was working overtime with Tully's eviction. Competing with ratings against the Brownlow Medal, the Tully eviction was the card they had and the card they played.

Apparently Heidi and Matt were there as well as her two friends. The audience is full of young kids so they couldn't afford Tully's usual drama on stage. I still think it will all blow over in 24 hours.

At the risk of being shot down in flames here, the whole Tahlia dumping Tully could have been blown out of proportion by BB spin doctors. I believe the reports that she was upset - but 'dumping'?

I, like many in this forum and elsewhere in Ozland feel somewhat hoodwinked by Tully's stage performance and BB's lack of back-up of their own full-on spin. Hell, I was even second-guessing what I thought I saw myself!

Anyhoo, the story has foundation with Tully's own behaviour and has been spun, spun, and spun and I feel ripped off at the anti-climax.

I just don't want to give this Tully character any more of my energy as she continues to weave her web.

That actually made me lol .. Thanks, I will have a glass. But I reserve the right to swear in any and/or all forms. :) MsBunnie

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am so sick of people THINKING they know what the symptoms of bipolar (AKA manic depression) are .

manic - no sleep, not eating, racing thoughts, acting out with no sense of consequences, acting impulsively, often drink a lot, take drugs, sleep around, run around like an idiot, get a lot of things done

depression - sad, suicidal thoughts, intolerance, indecisive - very hard to make decisions, over life,

worse things for a manic depressive to hear
- `oh, I think I have bipolar' - with their life in total order and no chaos
- `we all have ups and downs' - yeah but not without mega consequences
- `Tully )insert name here) has bipolar" - without knowing what the fuck bipolar really is

/\ This. People are way to quick to label a person. Bipolar is not a disease to joke and/kid around about.

Well I picked an awesome eviction to attend!! Haha! Got sick of Mike telling us "Now remember we love ALL our housemates so there will be no booing just cheering. WE LOVE THEM!" Yes Mike we get it, no booing.

A little girl behind me was sobbing when Tully got evicted  And I can't believe the crap Tully was saying on stage. "Oh yes we're such good friends and he'll make a good boyfriend for someone some day" What a load of bull! And then had the gall to say how she never nominated Matt cause of her being so loyal  Yeah right!

When we were lining up to get in, Matthew was coming down the line getting photos with everyone. Ahh he's so much more pretty in real life! :D And Katie and Lucy's mum is so cute! I was sitting in the 5th row on the side where the family members sit and when Tully came out they told us all to move in closer to the gangplank. I was on the end so I went down the front where there wasn't as much people and I was standing beside Sugar Sisters parents. I said to the mum "I voted for your girls" (Only to get Tully out really, but I don't mind them haha) and she's like "aww thanks" and gave me a hug so I got a photo with her and the dad afterwards. There was 5 people there with team Ben tshirts on - they used to work with him. It was kind of cute watching them introduce themselves to the Sugar Sisters parents and they were talking about catching up when everyone gets out.

Excellent. I cleared stuff up. I shared wine around. I was sworn at. All in all a good night on the forums.

Cin Cin.

:D

It was odd but it felt like something where they told her mother not to talk about it, she went there anyway and Mike had to jump in and cut her off. It was definitely intentional and not just a rude oversight.

I agree. I wasn't watching properly when it happened and have just seen that bit clearly now, he was definitely being told to cut her off.

she is refusing to be interviewed

i think this is the best decision for her. hopefully a trusted family member or friend has said just step away from the limelight, and let the silly hatred die down. if she isn't seen or heard from, people will quickly forget about her.

Going by his interview with AAP, he says something totally different.
_________________________________________________________

Justynn also thought he would probably seek out Tim after he entered the house, inside the Dreamworld theme park.

Justynn said he was aware of Tim's mind games and intended to take advantage of that knowledge.

"I've already got a bit of a fondness for Tim and enjoying the way he is messing with people's minds and the way he is playing the game," Justynn told AAP.

"He'd be a good guy to have on the inside.

I thought we'll done by BB, Sonia and Tully... Some wouldn't have been happy unless Tully was wheeled out hyperventilating! Some think think Gretel would have taken it there..... I think Gretel would have been bigger than that, would love to hear her thoughts on it...
I almost think Tully honestly believes her and drew's actions were those of people who are just friends, it just happens that 99% of society think it's a relationship/cheating! She may see it differently when she finds out she's now single! Drew might think differently if he watches what we just did!!

Regardless I can enjoy a bit more my bb experience now she's gone!!!!

My thoughts exactly

Just read one of the comments on the bb site, stating that Ed's family are offering a chance for anyone to win a date with Ed.

Desperate times

but how about accepting that she is being honest - from her own perspective. She knows what she has always been like before entering the house - the levels of affection that she deems appropriate etc etc - they may well differ from ours ... we may not say i love you at the drop of a hat ... or be so touchy feeling ... just maybe the whispering under the doona was a nerdy camaraderie that the other housemates never got ... maybe that was easy for BB to manipulate US into believe it was more than it truly was so they got us hooked into watching the next show and the next waiting for the train wreck ...

I think she handled herself really well during the interview - her explanations were plausible ... IF heard with an open mind rather than one that has already been judge, jury and executioner ...

her ability in her job, her understanding of social media - it stood her in good stead for the interview - she saw the statistics and the info put up about trending etc and was astounded - genuinely surprised and asking Why? I don't think she could have faked that reaction or puzzlement ... she didnt see what she could have done to generate such interest ...

it just left me wondering if we'd had the most spectacular snow job done on us by BB or whether I was witnessing one .. I don't think Tully is THAT good ... but I know BB can be ...

/\ This

see I saw their tweets as joking around to cover the fact they don't know what the hell is going on with the delays for their alloted interview. Maybe BB is doing some damage control - Tully would obviously be upset and wanting to talk to friends ... family ... they may give that higher priority to some radio station interview just at the moment ...

funny how things can be twisted around to suit whatever WE want to see ... you see it your way ... I twist it mine ... :)

Default Tully not doing radio interviews

I was just listening to the Bump show on my local SeaFm (I think its a nationally syndicated show through Austereo networks) and the host dude said that he was supposed to have Tully's first interview but... And I quote as best as I can remember...

"because Tully has been a naughty girl and can't stay in a faithful relationship she is refusing to do any radio interviews. So Tully, I hate you and you are never invited to come on the Bump Show ... ever"

that host sounds like a fuckwit without an ounce of compassion for what someone, in Tully's position, would be feeling right now.

I think he sounds like a guy who is pissed off as he thought he had the scoop of a lifetime.. turns out he has a scoop of poo and half an hour of dead air time to scrabble around and fill.
