Episode Day 46 (23/10/14) Nominations

To counter that though they've both probably screwed their chances of winning so keeping them in the house will give Prisus an easier path to victory in the final week.
Well this is true...it's a bit Survivor-esque, isn't it? It's a shame Ryan's cashed up fans haven't been put under pressure week after week...I think this gnarly dude will make top 3.

So I am watching back Jason's message.

I am confused as to what Lawson says when Jason says Cat and Lawson are in a relationship and Lawson goes "whoa, whoa ....?" and I can't hear the rest.

Is Lawson disputing that he is now in a relationship with Cat?

Everyone saying Prisus was dumb with her power.

Are you idiotic? She did exactly what I would do - no one says you can only say a persons name once with a certain amount of points. Play around! see what happens! That's exactly what she did and she has just secured herself for another week - like it or not haters she did an intelligent move.
davo fanatics would disagree. they felt skye 'cheated' when she delivered daves points in two lots last week. people also said she was stupid for using so many points to reveal names. this week it seems the opposite is true, so im sure you can extrapolate the obvious from that...

Skye has a sweet side, but I get the feeling once she gets what she wants she'll happily squash anyone like a cockroach when she is empowered. She used to feel sorry for David and how he was being treated. Now she is acting like a total ass and her ego is growing exponentially, it's all about her now.
no. davo started showing his true colours in the house, and skye appears to have gone off him. she seems to the type that will give anyone chance, but will just as quickly put somebody to the side if they step wrong with her (eg, jake).

Travis - I use to really dislike this guy during the first week, I remember seething at his dickheadness during the first week during that tactics session, but I seem to be opening up more and more to him all the time. I see more and more champ coming out though, I really appreciated his decision to stay in the game, I like that he keeps the other housemates on edge and he is a good legitimate threat to them all.
travis does have an appeal. i actually quite like the kid. i reckon hes got the legs to take home the prize. hes the only person in the house i can see besting skye on the finale.

Regarding the new housemates, didn't Goon say somewhere that the housemate who will eventually be the winner hasn't gone into the house yet?
So this may be a legit 4 new people.
If I was an original housemate I would be wondering what is happening with the show and if it's completely off the rails. All of these stunts, they have to know something's wrong, except maybe Ryan, who I'm sure production hates after his rude comments to Sonia. I bet we don't see much of him from here on out, and that what we do see is negative.

Well a few opinion shifts for me after watching that episode..

I said after Skye nominated using her super power, that my opinion on her had changed and this series was hers to lose. On a couple of days this week, she is coming across as arrogant, over confident, not very nice to people and with too much of a sense of entitlement. Not ALL of Australia loves you, Skye. I still think she did a lot better with the 12 points, than what Priya did. Watching Priya, was like pulling teeth.

ok so airing here in WA...

Lawson sitting on bed wearing his hoodie - dude is trying to hide himself and feels like shit... and Cat turns his guilt and sadness into a sympathy ploy to make him feel bad for her. "why is it when you are happy with someone you have to be sad at the same time" then ducks down to make eye contact under his hood, pause, then cries a little to tug his guilt her way.

Cat is GOOOOOOD. Mistress emotional manipulator. Lawson doesn't really stand a chance while they are both in the house together.

That hoodie made him look like a CAT BURGLAR :-).

Your posts make me laugh, and gosh I love the episode with Anastasia Beaverhausen, There's no character like Karen!

Im glad I could be of service. I enjoy teasing the housemates, even the ones I like. I assume they don't mind or why else would they have volunteered to be on my TV.;)

Karen is one of my favourite characters ever. She was so ridiculous and then she invented an even more ridiculous alter ego. She was comedy gold.

I can't see Cat going before Marina.
Although Marina may be getting a bit more support since she showed her honest, raw emotions when she found out her dog died. :(

Which is a great outcome for me. I don't mind Marina. Cat, on the other hand, makes my skin crawl.

See, now to me that is not funny Priya. I like Priya, but I don't for a second believe speaking in a high pitched tone to Skye is her being fun. Nothing about her personality suggests that is her idea of fun. That absolutely read to me as her trying to create a group. She is educated and carries herself a very specific way. I don't believe she'd ever give a character like Skye the time of day,and if she did, they wouldn't be doing cartoon voices. It felt phony as hell to me.
That said, I'd like to see the more fun side of her. But, the genuine side.
I agree, but I think she might use the toonish voices as part of her standup comedy?

He was wrong for giving them approval to their faces, but then does it after being evicted.
Yes, best not to have said anything. I suspect the reason why he didn't tell the truth about his feelings to Lawson and cat was probably because he didn't want to appear "confrontational". Instead, he wound up looking duplicitous.

Shows how sneaky his. He failed at playing the game, he was trying to play the Ben12 game.

Yeppers. Since he likes music so much, maybe he should listen to the Rick Nelson song "Garden Party". He might learn something about the importance of not trying to please everyone.

Been a lurker on this site fire this season. Big David Dan. Had to finally do a post after watching the first part of this episode. Skye must be taken down. "Dave's head it's going to explode soon. He's not 100 percent genuine" . What a hypocrite.

Her head is about to explode with her ego. Wow. Please get her out Australia. As an American I have no power to do this.

Slayvid, slay.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to like Aisha. She's smarter than I gave her credit for.
I agreed with a lot of the things she said about Cat and Lawson, but she needs to broaden her critique of the cheating in order to include him a little bit more. He should have stayed away from Cat (I don't mean distance, but maybe not so huggy and massagy all of the time) when he felt his feelings being compromised not because he might want to stay in a relationship with Candice, but rather so that he could end things properly.
