Episode Day 45 (22/10/14) Eviction #8 or cash self-eviction of Traisha
- Thread starter Tim
- Start date
Have you seriously been up all night posting?!EXACTLY!!!
At what age does someone have to be to stop using age as an excuse? I'm starting to think there must be an official list out there detailing the maximum we can expect of people at every age and I just haven't seen it yet.
It's a bit of a joke tbh when you think of it. And a mockery to people like you and your husband and all of the others on here in the same age bracket.
Hopefully! From now on in I think it will be dog eat dog in there
they will all turn on each other
Love and harmony is super boring to watch.
I think it is fabulous you had your life so under control by 23, but as people, we are all different.that drives me nuts, same as when Lawson blames his cat situation on his age.I was married at 23....they are adults ffs
For example, when I was 23, I was in the midst of a herion addiction, homeless and with a snot laden fatherless 3 year old on my hip. Thankfully my poor choices at 23 don't forever define me, but it demonstrates that as "adults" we can at times make very very poor choices due to our age and our life experience.
Lawson is flawed. Lawson has made some REALLY bad choices and that is okay. We live, we fuck up, we reflect and we learn.

I agree, as long as we DO reflect and learn from them. My issue is when people seem to use age as an excuse for not knowing right from wrong (which is bullshit, and which I don't think Lawson has done) or have the attitude that it doesn't count somehow because they're young. It counts. You can have the mistakes, but the big ones are going to affect your life, and it's up to you to make what you will from them.I think it is fabulous you had your life so under control by 23, but as people, we are all different.

You need to understand though, when you are in the midst of the results of your poor choices, you will blame them on anything you can, to try and elievate judgment from others.I agree, as long as we DO reflect and learn from them. When you are living it, mistakes aren't always so black and white. It is only on reflection that we see the reactions from our actions more clearly.

No, I absolutely agree. What I mean is more that poor choices are something to be learned from, no matter how long it takes, but also no matter when they're made. You need to understand though, when you are in the midst of the results of your poor choices, you will blame them on anything you can, to try and elievate judgment from others.

re the age excuse - my daughter is 17 and im sure has her head screwed on at that age and wouldnt have prob deciding on the $$$ and other issues in the house so i dont think they can be using age as excuses either. and my two boys 13 and 20 both mature and smart. but a girl at work is 23 and reminds me of skye. All i trying to say IMO its not age that the problem or excuse, its personality, individual smarts, iq, life situation and how your life has been growing up etc. basically we are all made up differently fact of life some are smarter than others, age not necessarily a factor in that

I "thoroughly enjoyed" Jason being evicted too though?Sorry @the Theorist - I'm with Tim!
I liked Jason, but I'm more nervous as he was on Team Priya!I "thoroughly enjoyed" Jason being evicted too though?
Hey producers - maybe if you didn't hold so many fucking double evictions all the time, you wouldn't be losing so many of the more interesting housemates so early on into the series. The constant desire to have an "EVENT" almost every episode as a cheap gimmick to draw viewers in has backfired and has helped to destroy this series.
Yeah, this double eviction junk has helped to destroy it.
The more important characters to the show have found themselves leaving second.

Me too. No difference between these two couples, bored with "cheating" claims, creepy Lawson (not from Clawson, from daily behaviour) cannot tell his past gf that he has moved on, no messages to outside world.I wonder if they show us what Travis and Aisha got up to, in the Sanctuary overnight, like they did with Lawson and Cat last week.

Why is Lawson a "cheater"? Just moved on from one c to another.Callling him a "cheater" gives his behaviour some definition while he is actually probably just a serial monogamist. Lawson will be creepy whether 23, 53 or 103 anywayI wrote something about this in another thread I think but yeah it drives me crazy. I'm so young,I'm so young I mean really in this day and age with the things that go on in this world ,how can they have any excuse.Lawson is a cheater whether he is 23 or 16 you're a human, you made a choice and you have to deal with that choice, you chose to go there so now don't say you are young it's bullcrap. Sam had the opportunity too and he didnt go there,he didnt blame the confined spaces of the BB house and cheat on his GF
