Episode Day 3 (10/09/14) Daily Show

Ok so I just watched the show. Yeah it is a bit frustrating that we have a lack of info or live feeds. Tbh I would have preferred all HMs to enter on night one and the headlines thing shown on night 2.

However I really enjoyed hearing the headlines thing. Last year I felt it took me a couple of weeks until I felt I knew the HMs. This headlines thing went a long way to helping me understand them.

Could it have been better? Sure. But I enjoyed it the show.

It's the truth, why should we have to put up with this piece of crap show masquerading as Big Brother. Honestly having no Big Brother again is better than the Big Brother they are serving up this year.

Yeah but that kind of thing should be natural and not set up by Big Brother and it shouldn't take up pretty much the whole show. We saw nothing of what they did Tuesday morning/afternoon. You may be happy to put up with this but others are not.

Why? You can feel free not to watch. There are plenty of people who still enjoy watching the show. Me included. Why on earth would you rather there be NO show rather than this one. That logic makes absolutely zero sense to me.

It's almost like a kid throwing a tantrum. If I can't have what I want, then no one can have anything! :dummy1:

It's almost as if the producers think they are creating a TV SHOW!! Outrage!
 
Well, in all honesty, in my 9 years on these forums I have NEVER encountered as many negative posts about BB than what graced nearly every thread last night, as well as this morning.

I followed this thread in particular and I can only recall seeing maybe 5 or 6 positive posts in total, out of all 1328 posts in here so far. The producers have royally fucked up this time and the majority of us are borderline calling it quits.

Yeah fair enough, I see there are quite a few members who aren't happy. However I don't really think it's any worse than the first week or so of 2013. If it's still like this is a couple of weeks I may change my opinion, this is in terms of the 'editing' of the show.

In terms of the lack of live feeds, I'm disappointed along with you. For me though, that disappointment makes me nowhere NEAR 'borderline quits.' I'll be here to the bitter end![DOUBLEPOST=1410397235][/DOUBLEPOST]

Haha. I admitted I thought it could have been better. I don't completely disagree with you -- except for saying no BB is better than 9BB
 
Is it the same crew that worked on it during the Channel Ten days? If it is, surly they could do something little to return it back to good old days. Or has Nine put their foot down that much that the crew are afraid to do something?

Also, interesting to read that Peter Cunningham isn't working on this years series. Looks like his working/living in London.

Yeah did they list the new BB's (deputy BB's) in the credits? Who has replaced Pete ?
 
im just watching wednesday night now.... Did they skip a whole night and day on the show??

on tuesday we saw Sunday night all the way to Monday night at 10 pm...all int he space of 30 mins.
Then the next show ( last night ) picks up at 6:54 pm Tuesday night. Did we really miss a whole 21 hours?!!?!? Holy shit

Yep. Disgraceful editing of the show last night. The worst thing is that it said the "Headlines" game happened at 11:18 Tuesday night and then at the end of the show when some of the housemates were in the kitchen trying to make pancakes it said it was 8:20 pm. Then when they were going to bed the time jumped back up to 3 am. Really poor.

It is wprse than just dinner time; ít is dinner time with scripted conversation topics, líke the appalling organised adult fun stuff last year...

This has to be a plan, right? Make us hate the fitst week so we feel like we got heard and love it when they just go back to normal?

I feared when they first bought BB back that it would end up getting silly again. But I'm hoping that doesn't happen this season. They've had two great seasons so far so I think give it til the end of the season then people should make up their minds :-)

i didnt appreciate jake and lawson sitting on the back of the white couch, feet on the white seat with volleys on. i had the urge to get a rolling pin on and whack whack whack
