[Tim]

7:13pm - Some HMs talking about women's appearances and dealbreakers.

Bruce doesn't like facial piercings on women.

Vinnie wants girls to "dress nice". The first thing he notices is their hair. Vinnie is interrupted by Colin farting. The HMs protest/laugh, and Colin replies "well the cameras are watching".

Colin wants to know if he has bugs bunny teeth. The others say no.

Bruce asks Coco for her dealbreakers... she says some one who takes ages to get ready. Allana wants rough hands and clean fingernails in a man.

Bruce and Vinnie both want a woman who has goals. They wouldn't want to date a woman who works in a supermarket.

 

[Tim]

7:19pm - HMs share their icks:

Colin: "My biggest ick is when chicks want to go to Red Rooster, like seriously bro get [a life]"

Bruce: "People who don't speed a little bit, like, 2 kays over"

Allana: "People who can't reverse park"

 

[Tim]

7:44pm - HMs waiting for nominations announcement on the couches, however Big Brother hasn't actually called them yet.

The feed is muted every 5 seconds it's impossible to follow any particular conversation in depth. Conor is theorising whether it's going to be a double eviction, however the noms points could flow. Bruce is talking about his tattoos and where he got them.

 

[Tim]

7:59pm - Bruce has walked up to the main screen and cameras to inspect things. We don't know exactly why because the audio is muted.

Bruce makes a comment about stealing one of the screens.

The HMs can hear the crowd outside cheering when Mel goes to commercial break.

 

[Tim]

8:03pm - Bruce says he doesn't want to see Jane or Mia on the outside.

Allana, who doesn't quite hear him asks him to repeat himself.

He changes his answer to "I was just saying it's going to be so crazy to see everyone at the finale"

 

[Tim]

8:32pm - The HMs have just watched Ed allocate 7 points to Vinnie and 3 to Coco.

 

[Tim]

8:38pm - Colin contemplates using his save and replace power.

 

[Tim]

8:40pm - Colin has saved Allana from nomination, putting Emily up.

Coco says "it's all good Ed" for the 3 nomination points.

The HMs all grab their water bottles which are hidden behind the couches. They are all rather silent.

 

[Tim]

8:44pm - Colin is not taking things well.

 

[Tim]

8:45pm - Some HMs have peeled off and are consoling Ed. They tell him that his votes wouldn't have changed the end result, so don't worry about it. They also all agree that Ed's reason for nominating Vinnie (for being fake) was totally valid.

Coco comes over and tells Ed there is no hard feelings.

 

[Tim]

8:52pm - HMs are sitting around sombrely trying to dissect everything. Allana tells them they should be proud of being the final 8.

The christmas bells chime, so the HMs must carol for the task. The song is We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

Most of the housemates don't know the second verse of the song.

Even fewer know the third verse.

 

[Tim]

8:57pm - Allana and Bruce tell Emily how it plays out now that she's nominated. She'll be called to the diary room and asked questions like "how do you feel about this". Emily is rather silent.

 

[Tim]

9:07pm - Emily is worried she doesn't stand a chance against Vinnie and Coco.

Conor reminds her that the public has seen Vinnie being called fake many, many times.

Bruce says that Holly was the person who got the most screams from the Dreamworld riders, but then she ended up being evicted so you just don't know.

 

[Tim]

9:12pm - Vinnie has gone away to the bedroom to be by himself. Ed doesn't want things to be awkward with Vinnie now.

Conor jumps in: "Ed's not the first person to say that in this house, and he won't be the last. Holly said it in her message last night"

Bruce: "It's been in the last 2 [goodbye] messages"

Colin tells the group that he doesn't want to talk about Holly, he's feeling too sensitive about it. He says he's never really watched Big Brother before and doesn't know what he'd be in for.

 

[Tim]

9:14pm - Ed goes to confront Vinnie in the laundry. Vinnie immediately tells him to back away from him.

Ed: "It's a horrible thing, but... that's the way I feel ... you can hate me as much as you want... I'd love to help you be better"

Ed admits he knew that the cameras were showing him to the other housemates while he allocated 7 points to Vinnie.

Vinnie is angry: "You were honest only then?"

Vinnie goes on to say that he was always honest with Ed and feels that Ed hasn't done the same in return.

Vinnie: "I'm not angry, I'm just so upset that a conversation could have maybe changed something in your brain"

 

[Tim]

9:17pm - Vinnie is very angry. He is upset that Ed did not mention to him earlier that he thinks Vinnie is fake.

He brings up the many haircuts Vinnie has given him, why didn't Ed bring it up during the haircuts?

He says they are two grown men who could have had a conversation instead of hiding it. He would have liked Ed to speak to him as soon as Jane called Vinnie fake.

 

[Tim]

9:22pm - Ed tries to give Vinnie advice to be less fake: "pull it back a little".

They start getting lost in the details. Vinnie asks for evidence from Ed of times when other housemates said they thought he was fake.

Ed says that when Jane first mentioned Vinnie being fake he didn't believe it... but "things start to creep up on you", he says.

Ed starts to talk about how other people in the house have commended him for his reasoning giving Vinnie 7 points.

The feed is cut to fish cam.

 

[Tim]

9:29pm - We cut to Bruce and Coco. He is talking about how he has a convertible (car) and talks about what Coco is going to be like when she first rides in it.

Suddenly there is a carolling task. The song is the 12 Days of Christmas.

 

[Tim]

9:34pm - Ed and Vinnie continue their conversation outside. Ed's reasoning seems to have changed now... he's saying that Vinnie acts much more mature for his age and this come across to older people as being fake. He suggests that Vinnie "act his age" (21) more.

Vinnie says that this information is really conflicting because he feels like he's being himself.

 

[Tim]

9:44pm - Housemates are gossiping about Vinnie.

Bruce says that if Vinnie goes off at Ed then it won't look good for him because "he's built this persona" of being chill.

Conor says that "Vinnie's eyes have done him in"... when they were on the couch they all noticed Vinnie was fuming at Ed's nominations.

Bruce: "Oh yeah cos the camera would have been zoomed right up on him"

Bruce asks Emily if she wants to go outside and spy on Ed and Vinnie talking. They listen for 30 seconds then head back inside.
