Yeah I think so. It didn't seem/sound like Big Zesty like we have been hearing previously.

Doesn't mean anything to be honest. Either he follows that scheme because it's presented as the current "best practice" style at the Big Brother exchanges.. or 10 demands them to produce the show this way and he has no choice.
But having an OG producer is not a guarantee that you get an OG feel. Grodner is almost OG and the way they edit the show in the US is terrible. The current German EP is with the show since day 1 (albeit some breaks in between) and the editing is also terrible (although not as terrible as it used to be in 2010, when they would not just add music, but shaky cameras, grey-ish filters, additional black bars for a cinematic feel and slowmos to let their audition know that housemates screaming at each other means that it's an intense scene)
To be honest this version needs daily shows and live shows separated if it’s going to be like this
After the way they rolled out the DS footage tonight (which was like 90% of the episode anyway - we hardly saw Mel), I'm not sure much will change by tomorrow. Unless they see our feedback and decide to seriously act on it... which feels unlikely.
Tomorrow's episode will be the last true test.

…um… this is how I see it… no matter how shit this show was tonight for a lot of people (I quite enjoyed it to be honest)… at least Big Brother is back… no matter how bad… IT IS BACK… I don’t remember a season of Big Brother (regardless of which Channel it’s on) where we haven’t crucified it… (Sonia Kruger is allowed to be crucified I grant you that) or picked shit out of all housemates or the house itself… but it is our criticism that keeps the show alive… if there was no anger or criticism at all the TV Channels wouldn’t even bother to revive it so keep ranting about it no matter if it’s to praise it or condemn it… just as long as we keep it… go forth and rant fellow rantees!… the show needs it… but as I said… no matter how bad it may have or have not been tonight… at least it’s back… cheers.
