I have to say I was not with him from day one, but.. I wasn't cottoning with any of them. As I mentioned before on this thread, I did a turnaround to appreciate him just last week with his chat at the BBQ with Sandra and the proceeding chat he had at the table with the housemates. IMO, he's possibly the most intelligent housemate there and "playing the game" well. It would be great if he took the crown of BB Winner 2014.

You don't need to have been here from Day One to appreciate David. I almost wrote off the entire season early on, but saw the light and suddenly knew that the straight-shooting dude with the beard (and occasional foot in mouth disease) was the one to watch. If he didn't win, regardless it was obvious that he was going to keep me entertained for as long as he managed to stay. Seeing him get annihilated by Lisa very early on, yet not retaliating in kind, it was obvious there was a compassion there and that he knew when to concede for the sake of peace. David has owned his mistakes, gone on to make more, yet seemingly has been true to himself from the beginning. He's stuck by people who didn't deserve it, he's forgiven, and he's accepted his fate. He's playing the game for us to watch. You can't ask for more than that. It's going be a hard slog, but I want him to beat the others more than ever. It's now out of principle.

I don't entirely agree with that logic. As a housemate you never know when you're going to be up for eviction so having a sacrificial lamb such as Laws and Cat in the mix definitely helps your chances of surviving an eviction.

You gotta think short term before you get ahead of yourself.

I was 'ride or die' Team David from the start because of everything you have said here which sums up most of my David posts. You have no idea how much I LOVE this post.

I love that David was the lead singer of the band. I hope he finds more opportunities to smile and have fun now that depressing Sandra has left the house. He has such a lightness to him when he is enjoying himself.

Well...speaking of David singing...the one thing you might have missed was his sister posting a video of him slaying some karaoke many years ago. You have to see that! Just scroll back a few pages to catch it...if you haven't already.

because ryan got most-saved because ryan got the sob edit and ryans bullying of skye wasnt shown a second time.

Yay! That was intense...nearly chewed my fingers off. First, David's Mum was lovely...beautiful Irish accent too. Second, David looked especially handsome tonight...in the kitchen scene when they were having the fake understudy audition. Third, I am relieved that he had the second top save votes. And last, I am glad it was Jason that went. Priya is more interesting of the two...besides, Jason lost my support when he made that snide remark about leaving David stuck in the flying harness til dinner. Plus he kept nominating our guy. Me no likey...

With all who's up for eviction, it should be interesting to hear all their reasons for nominating.
cross fingers Marina doesn't have a huge fan base, and interesting to see Priya HOH being up...who was brave enough to nominate her lol Lawson's fans might save Cat, and Aisha fans Travis because of their love stories?
Hopefully David gets a good edit tonight because I'm not sure when the next daily show will be?
I'm hoping David gets HOH this week because it's been a female the last 3 weeks but have a feeling the 'public' might chose Ryan...
