I prefer he would tell Sandra she is a witch but looking at today's show he still loves her and if he continues he will lose my respect cause she has been openly mean to him. I know he is nice and does not like confrontation, I hate that too (except to watch) but come on now.

I think most of Sandra being mean has been behind his back...although her kissing Leo was pretty much in his face.
I remember David saying to Sandra (maybe week 2) something like he noticed some others talking to him and rolling their eyes etc, and he stated to her she did the same thing to him but I think they've probably had more good times than bad, when they do spend time together...not that BB has shown us much footage
 
True V but the way she behaved with leo and how she shunned David in the swimming pool must have been a deja vu to his high school days. Maybe he is so used people treating him like that? Now I am a bit like him, hate confrontations but if you do those little mean things to me one too many times, you will see CDW the Lioness. sweet Smiley-lionlaughing.gif into.... leo.gif into.. (mm not scary enough this one perhaps....silly.gif
But yes you must be right cause there are so so many things we did not watch,.

No he picked them all himself. He has literally taken every item of clothing he owns into the house. My little bit on 'insider' information is that for the opening night when they all enter the house they have to pick four outfits and send photos to BB and he picks which outfit they should wear so in that sense BB chooses for them.
In all the BBs I've watched I've always thought they get new shipments of clothes brought in because you go six weeks and then suddenly they are wearing something you've never seen. I know they get clothes brought into them for the parties and stuff but I mean regular day to day clothes. I'm dying to find this out from David and will share with you once it's confirmed :)

Has your family received David's letter yet?
Are you allowed to say who David took to lockdown? Was it his good friend Lisa?

Hey @Veronica2005 - can I just say, I love reading your posts on this thread. You always capture everything perfectly on here. So many of the contributors do also but you are definitely one of my favs :)
The letter was sent to Mum and Dad and Dad scanned a copy for us all. It's wonderful! Four pages of honesty and self reflection and lots of love for his loved ones. I'm hoping to share it on his 'David to win' facebook page but I just want to get everyone's OK.

David didn't take any 'loved ones' into lockdown. I drove down to the GoldCoast (I live in Brisbane) and meet up with him for 45 mins on the Saturday before he went in. He flew into GoldCoast/Coolangatta and was driven into Surfers Paradise and we met at a pub, had a drink, I took my selfie photo and then we said goodbye. It was very surreal. Myself and the family and Lisa got a text message saying 'Signing out. Cya all on the other side'.
Each HMs has a chaperone though who they meet that day. I think they try to pick someone you have things in common with so they kinda hang out with them and accompany them to photo shoots and interviews but other than that they were by themselves.

It's Mum's turn for eviction this week. I get called up each time he's up because I'm the easy (and dare I say, cheap option as they don't have to pay for flights etc). I'm happy to go down on the Tuesday but I'm quite a busy bee and have a lot of commitments so I can never do Monday or Wednesday. These double evictions and double shows are a nuisance but it also means Mum and Dad and some of his other 'loved ones' get a turn of coming to the show. I'll drive down on the Tuesday and meet Mum but she'll be the one on camera if they interview this time around. She has a killer Irish accent so you'll pick her :)

There was no instruction from BigBrother to say we can't. I just wanted to check it off with the parentals and the others mentioned in the letter to make sure everyone is OK for it to be shared. It's got David's messy handwriting and spelling mistakes but in fairness they only had 3omins and he managed four pages so pretty solid effort!

Not only does @Veronica2005 capture things best with her words...she could probably do it without saying anything at all. Her repertoire of emoticons is amazing. I hope this isn't the last week we have with David. I have tried my best to make people see that just because Ryan and Sandra are the "bad guys" doesn't mean he should be lumped into their group...he is and has always been a lone wolf, the underdog...and a funny, kind and loyal housemate...even if his loyalty is to his own detriment. Fingers are crossed that Sandra and Ryan go and then he will no longer be guilty by association. It is really doing my head in that Skye fans are screaming for David's head and accusing him of back stabbing her. SHE PUT HIM UP! He was safe and now he might go because SHE used her power play to back stab him. David fans didn't scream for her head when she did it, either. Ugh!!

Sigh, his fans know the truth...we just have to hope that the Skye fans gun for Sandra and Ryan, while we keep voting to save him. I wish it were a single eviction, though. Having thursday's show be the last thing on the voter's minds makes me nervous. Anyway, good luck next week...I hope we will be seeing you on here and not him...not yet anyway.

@BigSisterEm I feel somewhat dodgy and exploitative suggesting this but I hope you trust from all of my posts in here from the start of this thread that my intent is good... I really think that if that letter is ever going to be made public, it needs to be before this eviction. I personally have no big desire to read it. Yeah I'd love to see it eventually but I don't NEED to see what he said to loved ones to know why he's one of my favourites and I respect the privacy aspects involved.

But like I was discussing with @Gemini in the Betting Odds thread as soon as that Skye promo was first released on Thursday before the show, what David needs to capitalise on is the "floaters" and unfortunately he has lost support since then. Exactly what I feared would happen has happened. Not only on Facebook and on here but it's even reflecting with the betting odds with how they dove today for him. No matter how we can understand the hows and whys of the situation, he needs more than the support of his core fans to save him. The week he was the second most saved he was the underdog and had just shaved his beard. He doesn't have either of those drawcards anymore. Not only has he been lumped in with Ryan and Sandra but those who don't like Skye and/or like Ryan are backing Ryan harder now.

And while I'm normally not a fan of stunts aka the Lowers of last year, I do think David needs help to survive this one. Big time. Sucks that it's come to this and I feel dirty for even suggesting it but if it helps even 20 people realise there's more to him than what they saw on Thurs night - especially with Travis coming back in Monday so presumably even less airtime for Dave who's fighting for it already - then I'd just go for it with my loved ones' permission of course.

Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures and David's in real trouble now so I think this would classify as one of those times. xo
 
call me crazy, but i dont dislike sandra or ryan. i think they have some valid points at times, and we dont get to see all the footage as u have all stated. i reckon skye would be hard work. they all say travis is hard work, and like it or not there are different levels of intelligence in the world and if u are 'smarter' than someone else then it could be very frustrating having them try and argue with you and u know they are over their head not making sense and just spitting insults and crying as they cannot match the conversation. and it would also be frustrating to also feel someone is 'acting' dumber to get sympathy. which i feel skye does. i think what she said to sandra was rude. however, i do like skye. just frustrates me ever year that BB editing and footage choice has just a big influence on the game and how people then vote. BB can make or break someones popularity, and this has been proved and stated by past housemates. i know its a game, an experiment, blah blah, but with all that cash prize, i just wish it was fairer. anyhow, my favourites at this stage are jason, priya, aisha, david. just annoyed they have cut back the days its on ! grrr. thats my thoughts for the day so far :)
