David Appreciation Thread

I re read what @lefraincis has had to say again in both posts, and I truly do think he wants for peace on both threads and for both hms. His post in the priya thread was really nice and I truly respect it and think we should honor it and do the same ourselves.

Whilst I may not agree on an apology issue, I'm sorry but I don't think it is necessary. I do think his post was diplomatic and takes into regard trying to find middle ground.

I don't want anyone taking pot shots at lefraincis nor take my original post as a way to create another argument on here. PM's are a fantastic way to resolve an issue and see eye to eye without the added interruptions of either side getting involved.

We are all friends here and there is room for all of us to enjoy the hms, the arguments, the witty banter and share our personal stories along the way.

Be kind to each other x

Are these poor deluded souls still after an apology? FMD. They don't deserve shit. How condescending and hypocritical. Where's the apology to David's family for the disgusting attack on them in here?

Jesus Christ. Get your hand off it.

@Sweetgeek you said it much more eloquently than me.

Excuse me, I am a human being and have a right to ask for an apology for actions that I believe dehumanised another person. I did not demand an apology, I simply asked. I also stated that if one was given that I'd expect Bhushan to give one too. So that people don't do the whole "he should first", I'm happy to ask him first if it's felt necessary - not that I think him doing so first is required, but chacun son goût.

I could have come in here guns blazing, insults flying - but I didn't. I am not hypocritical. I would like you to find any significantly hypocritical comments I have made here. I never attacked David's family. The only previous comments I have made regarding them were against what I viewed as dehumanisation and disrespect, which I know you read. I believe that I was respectful the whole time, and several David fans said this was the case.

It is up to Mel to apologise. I'd regret if she felt that I was attacking her, I was simply criticising some behaviour of hers. As I have said elsewhere, I have thoroughly enjoyed her input up until recently.

I also do not appreciate being alluded to as "deluded", far far from it. I also do not like the "condescending", disrespectful tone that you have adopted. I'm not here to attack anyone, I commented in reply in the hope that people could lift their moral standard.

If I fail, I fail. I hope that I do not. Again, as I've said elsewhere, recent behaviour has made me lose so much faith in human beings that I have considered leaving this site. I've been convinced to stay here. I've talked to Bhushan and explained how I have felt. He apologised to me personally, and I'd be happy to see a public one.

In fact, I've respectfully asked already in the Priya Appreciation Thread that people do not gloat about a possible David eviction here. I'd rather I wasn't labelled as disrespectful and hypocritical, the majority of my actions outweigh any rarities.

@David's beard Thanks for being respectful as always. Yes, I knew that would be a problem. I would not have done so if I were not subtly attacked through allusion. I did apologise for doing so in my post. I did also say it was expected for Mel to lash out too, but in my opinion she doing so was first (of course others might disagree) and others retaliated.

In reference to the rest, I do agree with the preface but I still think an apology is warranted. It's up to Mel to decide. If she chooses not to, I'd at least like any reply she makes to be respectful of what I've said, or perhaps it's better to put the issue to bed. Good luck to you too!

@JordanS - I really don't think you understand with your whole trolling of the thread. Yes we're fans of David and will do what we can to keep him here, but we don't - any of us - take for granted that he would win. We'd love to see him through to the final week, but he's up against tough opposition tonight and I know definitely I'm happy for him that he's stayed in there as long as he has.

For someone who doesn't always say the right thing at the right times, his type of character can cause controversy not everyone will look deeper to see the person inside. And to still be in there now it's something for him to be proud of.
We live in reality and yes, there's a good chance he can go.

So please, enough with the pointless hating comments please and just go and enjoy interracting with like-minded people in your own favourite's support thread?
I'm not sure if these words will even mean anything but come on, sometimes enough is enough.

Lies, lies, LIES.....

The part I bolded is beyond ridiculous.

I deal with facts honey. You deal with fantasy which gets you no where to be quite frank.

lol uh huh. Since I just posted you the reality of the situation. You're too deep within your own fantasy that you chose not to comprehend what I clearly laid out for you. Nevertheless, have fun with that HONEY and enjoy the rest of your day ;)

Your version of 'reality' is obviously very deluded then.

I have already sent you a PM where I have apologised for the wording but not the message of my post Take of that what you will.

I just can't comprehend why any posters would think they have a right to try and tell a housemate's family members how they should conduct themselves (that goes for David's sisters or Bhushan). These people are on social media having to defend their loved ones against all sorts of nasties. We don't know what that feels like so IMO we have no right telling them how to act, or worse trying to tell them they need to apologise for something.

Anyway, like I said, I apologise for my wording of my original post. I just found the idea of BBB posters demanding apologies from HM family members due to their SM activity quite unsettling and I flew off the handle which I do at times. You'll get used to it.

Thank you @moon3k! We certainly felt the love last night when David didn't go. Each day is a bonus at this stage. Emma and I had a great time backstage and got to meet all the regulars such as Bushy and Skye's mum and sister. There is no real inside gossip to give as everyone was friendly and talkative last night. I know there has been a lot of tension on all forms of social media but really, everyone just wants the best outcome for their loved one. David's family and friends included!

So excited for tonight's show...I have everything crossed that David makes it through to the final week...it would mean so much to him!

PS let us know if you have any questions for Leo, he should be backstage before the show for a bit.

Just wanted to LOVE this.
