Let's face it teenage girls comprise a large portion of the voting public and their reasons for voting a housemate this early on aren't exactly deeper than how hot a guy looks and/or how bubbly/friendly a female hm is.

There should be a system in place where a number can't vote more than 5 times each week or something like that. I think it gives a better indication of who has more support. I really believe ed had a few people who voted and voted hard, but I doubt his fan base was that big
 
I'm so glad my nervous stomach ulcer has a chance to settle this week!
I don't want David flying under the radar but I'll be happy for the others to pick each other off for another few weeks.

Cat doesn't seem to like David too much. That's two weeks in a row she's voted for him. AND after he tried to give her comfort when she was upset in the room.
Wasn't surprised that Priya and David nom'd each other. Two very tactical, intelligent players.
 
Judging by tonight Cat is rubbing a few people up the wrong way, just by her pot-planty presence. How she got involved and ended up crying over a couple of cans of soft drink is anyone's guess. Let's hope David doesn't get involved in any of that stupidity because they all ended up looking like fools over a can of Coke. At this early stage David needs to align with Priya not nom-nom her.
 
They don't usually show that much of the departure video but hers was such a hot mess that the producers couldn't resist. I imagine it would be unusual for a big bitch session after the departure video so early on. She pretty much offended everyone except Jake. Her strategy was so unbelievably awful. David seems pretty normal compared to some of the other personality disorders on display.
 
Although she called him a weirdo, she did at least say she kind of liked it. lol. I DID NOT LIKE David voting for Priya. However, I'm willing to cut him some slack, because I really did believe him that he wasn't even thinking about who to nominate. He seemed to be thinking hard. I actually think had he voted last, the vote might have been different. So, I'll give him a pass, since I know my girl will be saved. I figured he would be, but I'm glad he'll live to fight a couple more weeks.
 
I don't actually blame him for his nomination.. K&P had immunity last week. Priya is my fave female but that would have bugged me as a HM being told they just happened to totally forget that the $20k was coming out of the prize money, and Priya attitude saying now you know and walking away. maybe they thought it was some sort game play to keep the HM's onside.
BB knew it would cause conflict, that's why BB reminded them they had to tell the HM's.


anyway lets hope Priya is the most saved on Mondays night live show:)
 
My issue was, it was not nearly a big enough deal to still be an issue. Who cares if they forgot or not? The bottom line is it came out of the prize money, just as this week's money did. To me, he and Jake were grasping at straws. It also makes me wish the girls never shared their money. Because even if I was upset, them CHOOSING to give me any of it to eat would have trumped my initial annoyance. They had no obligation to share. They certainly weren't mad when they didn't have to eat shakes because of them. So, no, I personally don't like the vote.

I'm genuinely not worried about Priya. I think the two who should be the most worried are Cat and Katie. Neither is giving much in the way of anything.

If it's any consolation you looked like a doll and many of us on here were cheering for you when we saw you! You didn't come across nervous at all on live tv, which is a bit of a surprise as I imagine most of us would've been shitting ourselves to the point we were shaking!

On the nom note, I'm also a Priya fan so I can't say I was happy when he nominated her. As @tanique said that $ came out of the prize money but they used that cash to help the HMs eat. Maybe I'm just too numb now from being a diehard Survivor fan but seriously, none of them should've been complaining at all in the first week in the house, let alone when the girls agreed to distribute cash! Luckily Priya nominated him back so in my mind I could void it. In my ideal world they'd be the final two but I have a feeling both of them are going to struggle at different intervals to make it through so hopefully the edit and social media support works in our favour!

You did a killer job @BigSisterEm...I totally understand why you're stressing this much but as long as you don't start a pretty mean spirited blog trashing other HMs and then run a fake "win a date with Dave" thing and give the "prize" to a friend a la the Lowers last year, you'll always be cool with me xo
 
Really? You'd have them be your final two? I've liked Priya from the beginning, but there is still so much time for people to turn me off. lol. I doubt she will though. As for David, I just haven't seen enough yet. I'm hoping he gets some airtime these next two weeks. I don't want his shaving to be the only thing of note we get to see from him. I'd love to see him with the power. That would be quite interesting.

To be honest I just don't think they like one another...hence both nominating one another. We see it every year, people giving weak nominations because they're just trying to use any reason they can to nominate someone they don't like (I.e. Ed's reasons for nominating Mikkayla last year started to sound very iffy by about the third/fourth week straight of him nominating her).

Funny thing is, if David had have just said he was nominating Priya because she snitched on him I think everyone would have been like "oh okay, fair enough" and I'd hazard a guess it would have come up if he had more time to prepare.

Trust, I wish more people would just say "I don't like..." As a viewer, I prefer the honesty to the lame reasons. Neither of theirs were as lame as some. I don't know that David dislikes her, or she him. I think it's still the part of the game where you dislike things about people, but you don't flat out dislike them yet, except Gemma and Travis. I do think Dave and Priya aren't close, but from what we've seen, I don't get more than that. The editing this year generally sucks. I feel like we're missing out on so much. I can't accept hidden sodas is as good as it's been.

See for me when the editing is as dodgy as it is this year, I try and read between the lines to work out what their actions and comments are really saying. For me, if Priya immediately went and snitched on David for saying he didn't want Dion and Jason to win, then that says to me that she probably doesn't care for him too much. Sure that type of thing seems to just be part of her strategy, but I think if she genuinely liked David she wouldn't have done that...especially when he was already copping it after the comment about Lisa's boobs. Why doesn't she seem to like him? I don't know, but there could have been a million things go down and we'd have no idea due to the poor editing and lack of LF.

To me though something like that says they haven't clicked and formed a bond. Doesn't mean they hate one another, but they may just have connected with each other the least and as a result want to nominate each other.

Or, they could just want one another out on a strategic level and are using dumb excuses to nominate each other. I think they both see one another as a threat. Priya would be weary of David after he shaved his beard IMO, and David seems as if he's studied previous series hard and he'd know that Priya means business...and if someone you know is playing the game tries to get you into trouble with other HMs you'd start getting nervous about them.
