Thought it time to start a thread. Nothing too exciting on the celeb front to report - main point of interest is the house has moved to a new location. I won't say it's a new house as it's more than likely they'll just put the old up house in the new studio with a few tweaks to fit the space. The eviction set will be the same whilst rhe garden isn't too different, but is a bigger set of glass doors connecting to the living space.

Whilst the house is in Titan Studios the studio will be in Versa Studios, which is basically across the carpark in a similar arrangement to the previous set up.
 
I'm now just realising that I don't feel any sort of hype for this at all this year. Will try give it a go, but wouldn't be surprised if I give up on it midway.
 
Same here. I didn't watch last year beyond the premiere and my only interest this year is to see what they've done with the house, though fully expecting it to be basically the same rebuilt elsewhere.

Would much rather have the three weeks tagged on the civilian version.
 
ITV have confirmed that the Live Launch will also be streamed on YouTube, as will the nightly Live Feed.

Late & Live will be available to catch-up on YouTube after it has aired on itv2 - the main hightlights show will remain an itv2/x exclusive.

Really not sure how I feel about this house and not due to the similarities to the Garden Studios house but it actually feels a bit like a step back.
 
Agree - never liked the smaller houses however much they try and sell that it creates drama. Feels a big mistake to lose that second area for housemates to hang out - the mezzanine was one thing that really worked in the last couple of series. The studio almost certainly would have the height for it.

Also although aesthetically it's better to have the garden directly connected to the house I hope that doesn't cause issues on eviction night as the airlock was very effective at keeping crowd noise out.
 
The noise on eviction night isn’t much an issue when the crowd is shouting when they cross to the house anyways.
 
Also I agree about the smaller house… It worked during the BB5 - BB7 because it added a bit of the social experiment back in to what was otherwise becoming a modern reality show but it’s since served it’s purpose.
 
It does feel like things have regressed a bit - I can’t describe it, but it looks like a version of the house that’s been made for something else like Dead Set, or even when Ricky Gervais’ Extras did a BB episode - it just doesn’t look like the real deal!

Well done to the team for getting the sofas reupholstered for a third time - can’t wait to see them in purple come October 🤣
 
It all feels very bland… I do like how they’ve made the house feel like a permanent structure despite the fact that it’s a pop-up but otherwise there’s really no character or charm to it.
 
Honestly, the only thing that is vaguely interesting in any of the pictures is that the Diary Room no longer exists as a black void with a chair in it.
 
They’re not all in yet but this is a cast that they really could have done with the for relaunch last year. Bar Louis Walsh and Sharon O (who wasn’t even a fully fledged housemate) - it’s a much stronger pool of names.
 
Exactly the same line up as was leaked - a few half decent names but mostly unknowns, hasbeens and creeps.

Was nice to see Jackie Stallone's face again though.
