Big Brother UK season 15 - SPOILERS

Watching BBUK2014 I'm left wondering whatever happened to the classic BBC English accent? as a Kiwi-born Aussie who used to maintain that Kiwi's spoke the Queen's English and Aussie's spoke a more American style of English I want to change my stance!!!

I saw a program on TV, not too long ago, about the BBC's influence on the English accent. They talked about how the BBC used to encourage all their people to speak with the same standard accent, no matter where they were from. Now, the BBC wants people to speak with their own local accents.

Hahahaha, omg that most recent episode was fantastic.

I actually hope Hurricane Toya stays now, because as horrible, hot-headed and quick to blow as she is, she was actually right tonight - though she could have gone about it in a much calmer manner, because she just makes things worse. I think she's right about Winston's game too; let the other housemates destroy themselves, and just play the "dumb lad" card to the end, so that you are the most neutral housemate and therefore the public's default vote for who should win. It certainly worked for Sam last year.

Ash, Winston and Marlon are idiots. It's a game, so stop taking it out on Matthew and Toya for actually making a fair and thought out decision. They predicted who would be voted for, and they wanted to avoid having nomination scapegoats. They all were going to be up for eviction regardless of whether their votes were vetoed or not, are they that thick they can't understand that? I've never liked Ash, and his comment that they should have voted for the "boring c***s" was so bloody arrogant. Let's be honest, Ash - for the past two weeks, you and Marlon have been the real "boring c***s in that house. This is a game, you and your friends can't just keep coasting along until the end because you think it's your right.

We need a male eviction soon anyway, it's not fair to keep punishing the females for their flaws and then just let it slide when it comes to the awful traits of the boys. I'd love the first male out to be either of those three. Just the way they talk about women is enough to want them out.

Toya was bloody scary. The way she was carrying on in the Diary Room was actually kinda frightening. O_O

Toya needs to go this week.
She did tell them all to STFU and she did discard the 3 guys nominations which could easily create a desired affect on the nominations.

I forgot Sam won last year! He was pretty forgettable. That's why I've wanted Winston out from the get go. I hate Toya but I'd like her to stay. Ash and Winston did show their true colours.

I'm really surprised Matthew hasn't worked out that enough of the HMs voted for Winston, Marlon and Ash and Steve up and vetoing their votes made no difference...except to remove Kimbot from the mix. Maybe Matthew has worked it out but is keeping it to himself and letting Toya take the fall.

Geez from the looks of this thread I've missed some drama! I've been playing sleeping beauty for the past three days so I think I'll have to binge watch some BB now. I'm so glad Pauline is out. :D

Toya is such a hypocrit - she went off her brain at Ash, Winston and Marlon and then basically turned around and did exactly what they did.

For an ejacayded woman I'm surprised she didn't know what VETO meant in the first instance.

Then when wanting to discuss what had gone on instead of calmly talking she went on the attack. She figures the best defence is offence. Nothing gets people's backs up more than being screeched at.

She and Matthew had done nothing wrong - she had no need to explain but she always feels its her duty almost to explain (or dictate?)

She accused them of having a little gang and then later in the evening she's busy telling her 'people' to tell Winston THIS, tell Marlon THAT - and good on Jale for saying No I'm not going to be saying that to anyone. If Toya had remained calm in the first place and maybe let Matthew explain about the veto and their choices it would not have been t he massive explosion that it became. Now she's put not only her own head on the chopping block but also Matthews ... and one of them will be up for eviction regardless so lets sit back and wait for the fireworks when she finds out it is her.

How will BB decide which of the two is up? Popular vote by the viewers OR vote by the housemates - bye bye Toya if the later is the case!

WTF is with Danielle voting for someone because they believe in the Big Bang Theory ffs? Is she a total moron - we already know that she is full of shit with her high moral stance. I'm glad she wasn't saved by the veto ... I'm glad Winston, Marlon and Ash weren't saved either. Of all of the nominees I guess Kimberley was the least objectionable for me and so I'm glad the save went her way.

Did anyone also notice Stephen's reaction to being nominated "told you" "i knew it" "didn't I say it?" he's because Mr Pauline!!! the guy makes me skin crawl - and again Jale showed that she is NOT stupid - she can see the way people have 'changed' and she knows its only because they are aware of the booing and that the nastiness towards her is not popular with viewers

I'm starting to want Mark to win - even when he whines he's hilarious to listen to ... but also he's not afraid to speak up and tell people they are being filthy pigs and clean up their act - Toya could take a leaf out of his book though - he doesn't screech but he gets his point across clearly regardless
His comment that none of them are used to living with 13 other people in one house and they ALL have to clean up their act and act more responsibly was perfect.

Helen dragging Toya off and trying to get her to take a few breaths and calm down and see some sense for a minute wasn't getting anywhere fast.
Marlon completely showed his arrogance (and stupidity yet again) in the DR ... and Winston - dear god are people here STILL thinking he'll win this?!?! There's been more than one person to say that he's the one p'ing all over the toilet and being so filthy and lazy - and HE wants to be respected in the house? gimme a break!

I can't for the life of me fathom why doing dishes after a meal becomes such a huge issue in the house except for the fact that there are some very lazy individuals who will never pull their weight. So then you get the need to engrave your name on your plates and utensils so they'll know who isn't cleaning up - now THAT is going to really help keep the house a friendly place to live!

I must be in the minority now... But I want Toya to stay now! She was right in the situation tonight. If I was her or Matthew I would have felt uncomfortable as they probably didn't know it was gonna be revealed. Then the way Ash says "you saved Kim?!" Sounded like he was accusing them of saving Kim... Their nominations would have made no difference in the end as I believe they all nominated at least one person who ended up being up anyways...

Geez from the looks of this thread I've missed some drama! I've been playing sleeping beauty for the past three days so I think I'll have to binge watch some BB now. I'm so glad Pauline is out. :D

...have you been in bed sick or something Consuela?... cheers.

If Toya is the one to go this week, (and I can't believe that I'm saying that I hope she doesn't, because her crazy tirade against the boys tonight was just one of the best things I've seen this season - way to put Matthew in an awkward situation though - he was trying to explain things, and then she just started kicking off - it could have gone over without so much drama and Toya could have come off looking a great deal better if she had avoided getting so worked up, because they were in the right. She did her argument a disservice, but I suppose Toya is simply incapable of remaining calm.

What really shitted me though was seeing the shock from some of the housemates as people like Ash and Winston were nominated, and seeing Steven channel Pauline with his smug little "I told you so, I told you so...". What makes these people think they are so special that they should escape nomination above others in the house or that their nomination is a bigger deal than anybody else's? 8 housemates have gone up, why should you be so shocked that you didn't escape? This always seems to happen in nearly every season of Big Brother - a group of delusional housemates gets it in their heads that they own the house and feel entitled to stay in it above the housemates they don't like. FFS, it's a game and you are as vulnerable as everybody else.

Anyway, it's going to be either Toya or Ash out this week. Depending on the highlights of the next couple of days, we could see a surge in Ash votes, and I think it's very possible. They shouldn't have saved Steven... he would have attracted a lot of votes - Toya unknowingly made things a lot harder for herself.

Toya and Matthew saved Steven from eviction.

Steven was given the power to put one of them up. He chose Toya.

Woah that fight did not do anybody any favours, just look at this thread. Some people think Toya is the worst and others think she was in the right. Now that Toya knows what the word veto means she needs to learn the word tact. As soon as BB announced what the power couple had to do Toya was in a very combative head space. She didn't need to act they way she did but, I agree with the people she chose to veto their nominations. Her and Matthew were trying to level the playing field and help out people like Chris and Danielle.

Now those boys should of just let toya carry on instead of arguing back to her, but at least now Ash has actually done something in the house.

After all this drama I can't even remember who is up for eviction.....

its not that I think she was in the wrong for what she was trying to actually say - more that her delivery / approach was so far over the top she did herself harm and also dragged Matthew down with her

I hate the "pauline approach" and Toya has adopted it.

I also really dislike the way she insists she's educated and therefore better than everyone else - if she could harness some of that education and work out how better to get her point across without being confrontational with the very first words that come out of her mouth she'd win more favours

I would personally prefer to see Winston or Marlon leave before she does - just to break up that stupid twosome & maybe pull Ash down a peg or two ... I think because he was one of the early one's saved last week he believes he's popular ... he's nothing special. Other that his little boy pals I think Helen is the only other person who seems to think he's much of anything ...

However I wonder at Toya's reasoning - let's face it - it WAS her reasoning and Matthew just nodding and going along with it ... to even the playing field ... its a game Toya - its not going to be fair all the time for everybody ... people like Danielle who go out of their way to fuel the flames don't really deserve to be saved from nomination just to make it fair ...

Toya won no favours from me going up into the Power Pod and looking down on the HM's and making snide remarks ... and playing with THIS not THIS isn't always what makes people good HM's and winners either

Matthew - grow a pair mate and shut her down sometimes so YOU can get to put your ideas forward and so that YOU can be heard ...

and no surprises from that spoiler either really ...

lol well Toya has committed suicide.

She was quite scary, mainly because her tirade was filled with self delusions of grandeur, especially when she tried to pull together that half-intelligent statement in the diary room about how she has a responsibility to the house. Oh lordy. Later on when she'd run out of ways to re-construct the fight she moved on to talking about how the boys are all nobodies and how she's a somebody when she leaves the house.

On the other side of the planet I can hear the crowd starting their boo'ing. I hope it doesn't cause a tsunami.

This was also character revealing for the boys, who all appear to have similar delusions of self importance. Chris has made comments about this in the past, about how the alpha blokes of the house all think the world revolves around them. Ash kicked off immediately after hearing he'd been nominated, in a way he was almost looking for a fight. This was followed up by comments by Steven saying the veto'ing was the wrong decision because it will result in him going and not some one else "who doesn't contribute to the house as much" (eye roll) and then comments by Ash that the veto power should have been used on "boring cunts" (rolled my eyes so hard they popped out of the sockets).

"I contribute more to the house" = I'm better than you? O_O

maybe under the pressure of all the screaming and yelling going on neither one of them worked it out ... but you'd think once they had time away from it and everyone calmed down if they DID work it out they could just let one or two HM's know and word would soon get around - leaving the dopey crew (Ash, Marlon and Whatsisname) to realise they were bitching and moaning about nothing

if any of them ever get to have the power maybe then it will dawn on them that its not all its cracked up to be ... but maybe they're truly as dopey as they seem and it won't even occur to them

Sooooo.... Toya needs a spot on Real Housewives of Atlanta stat. I ain't seen a bitch lose her shit like that since Porsha went for Kenya's weave.

Toya's reaction instantly reminded me of Pauline and her reaction to Jale's power nomination being revealed, both were on the defence before BB had even finished talking. Toya set it all off with her 'calm the fuck down to everyone' - everyone was already calm!?! Hurricane Toya indeed, she's a fucking category 5 and I love it. Her sitting up in the power pod surveying the peasants was classic.

I don't like that Ashleigh is being drawn in by Toya/Helen. Also Kim why on earth are you letting Steven put his slimy hands all over you girl?

and why is Toya somebody when she leaves the house? because she's had a minor presenting role on some minor show?
and currently works as a self-employed video blogger because she doesn't like traditional 9-5 working hours.

her twitter account says she's TV Presenter & Host. Host of The Magazine Show on BEN TV.
googled to find it:
The show is the number One Entertainment programme in Europe for the ethnic diverse African viewers. and takers on finding there is more than ONE programme in Europe for the ethnic diverse African viewers? thereby making it Number One by default?! It is one of the longest covering events and concerts from top Africa and Caribbean artistes as well as the platform programme to show upcoming artistes which some have gone to win international awards across the World.

The programme has it host interacting and interviews celebrities live in the studio with phone-ins from viewers. The show also provides opportunities for viewers to win tickets to shows, goody bags from related stakeholders etc. Every Saturday in the afternoon – is the Magazine Show time.

well that would keep her busy then huh?

ok call me a cynic (and I freely admit to being one so go for it!) but she's unemployed

but if you want to know how to wash your hair a la Toya feel free to watch:
