Surely, that implies that she was not to those that were not in her group of friends. Instead, she has driven Danielle to tears, isolated Jale, until she felt that she was actually an okay person who deserved to be treated as a human, made Chris, Christopher and Ashleigh feel uncomfortable, or more comfortable to be themselves when she wasn't there...

Anyway. And her weepy confession - it was all about how she was being perceived, never about the pain and social discomfort she has caused.

Yes it's all me,me ,me with her and what upsets her....anyone who criticizes Ashleigh for her comfort like her bear or not smiling all the time,imagine being tossed in that house with that bunch of vipers..Pav I suspect is only hanging around with her 1.Because the viper group has dwindled to two and 2.Purely out of self-preservation and staying out of her line of fire

The cool kids would never nominate themselves, but Christopher has twice succumbed to their will, both times naming Chris as the one to go up. Why do the weak consistently empower the powerful? I guess that is why they are powerful. We saw it in Xavier last year and Ashleigh nominated Christopher... If I was on Big Brother...

I'm not real comfortable with how Helen has been treated by BB just recently. All these quizzes and games involving stuff from the public. The court case really pissed me off. It's like Helen has settled down so BB has to stir her back up again. It's heartbreaking to watch her going through that.

Props to Ashleigh for having the backbone to stand up to Helen throughout the series, but I do think some of Helen's summation of Ashleigh was on the money. Ashleigh is pretty humourless, negative, and hasn't given much in the way of entertainment value. No sense of humour, no charm, playfulness, mischievousness, etc whatsoever, and the way she barely tolerates Chris's cringeworthy worship doesn't show her to be a very genuine or empathetic person. Just because she's young, pretty and pouty and dirty old men can leer at the way she sits in the diary room chair doesn't make her a worthy winner. I don't want either her or Helen to win. In fact, based purely on entertainment, I've gotten a lot more from Helen. Mainly negative, but at least she's been interesting to watch. I'm definitely team Christopher though.

I tend to agree with you. So close to the final public vote, I thought it was incredibly biased. Not just bad for Helen, but the overall assumption that it's somehow only Helen and Ashleigh who are the true contenders to win.

Absolutely shameful for Big Brother to set something like that up. Incredibly biased. Incredibly disgusting. And I feel bad for every single one of those HM's, including Helen, for having to put up with that shit.

I think it is fan service. Like, many fans want to see Helen get evicted, just to see the look on her face as she realises the public hate her; and to make her reflect on the way she made Jale, Christopher etc feel; basically, to make her confront the fact that the way she behaves is not okay.

If she left unenlightened, or unchallenged, there is a moralistic core of BB fans in the great British public who would feel that justice had not been done, and to savour the delicious schadenfreude.

Maybe. I like seeing her squirm, as I enjoyed seeing Mark squirm. It's why I miss Gretel.

...I was thinking that too about Helen and Ashleigh... a good point... it seems that the other 'finalists' are just extras to pad out the house until Helen and Ashleigh slug it out at the end... as someone said earlier somewhere... wouldn't it be hilarious to see Pav win it by a swell of public demand in the voting like it was done with Winston last week?... the looks on their faces...
