She did the Logies a couple of years after leaving BB, I remember her hosting a show about personal etiquette on the ABC in like 2015?? She did masked singer, That’s all I can recall..

Yeah IIRC she hosted the Logies in 2009 (Checks wikipedia, yep) I remember she had a little dark pixie cut hairdo.

OK, we all know what was said and what didn't and won't happen so don't think we need to keep hammering that point home. Let's move forward.
If 10 now promoting it is confirmation the holdback is over surprised casting wasn't officially launched with surely no time to lose unless technically they're not allowed to have even cast the casting team yet - though presumably Banijay have one in house for other shows and have already kept an eye on Survivor applicants who might work on Big Brother. I know the US version often gets the Survivor rejects.

I remember Survivor US used to approach people on Malibu Beach for casting. But that was before social media was invented.

If there's any EndemolShine casting pool they should be pulling from right now, it's Gogglebox. I think the casting of Gogglebox is so highly transferrable to Big Brother - the way those producers have been able to pluck regular people from obscurity who have ended up becoming more entertaining than the shows they were watching is the exact casting formula that Big Brother depends on.

Given the casting shitshow that has been for both Survivor and MAFS this year (reportedly). I imagine that the delay of BB casting launch has been because all of ES's casting teams time has been swallowed up in trying to lock in a cast for both of those shows. I understand probably the difficulty in MAFS casting given last years controversies, but having trouble for Survivor casting? Unless its a very niche theme, I really don't think casting for Survivor should be THAT hard.
