10 Have announced that BBAU will be back in 2025 in the LIVE Format!

Next year, 10 welcomes Big Brother home to the network that first introduced this reality TV juggernaut to Australian audiences. Expect the authentic, OG show you fell in love with all those years ago, including live nominations, live evictions, a brand-new home, engaging housemates and non-stop hijinks. The lineup of housemates will include a fascinating cross-section of relatable, everyday Australians whom audiences will be able to interact with in real time. This exciting Big Brother revival will launch across all Network 10 platforms in quarter four of 2025. Mel Tracina said: “I was one of the millions of Aussies captivated by Big Brother when it launched on Channel 10 in the early noughties.
“The show has such a loyal and passionate fan base, and I am excited to help bring back the show’s original spirit (minus the flip phones and bum dancing).”

It’s finally coming home, baby! The logo is spot on, the choice of host is brilliant and that PROMO is fucking epic… they even leaned into the controversies of the past.

I have every faith Ten know exactly what they’re doing, and will do it right.
 
After watching the promo, can we take a moment for this post I made in another thread here back in 2014:

So, I woke up a little disappointed this morning.

I had a dream that Ten released a promo confirming BB's return to them. I can remember it so vividly too - it was exactly what we'd all want in a BB promo, and it was so bloody exciting haha. It was in a style reminiscent of the BB04-BB06 promos (black background, blue text) and it had little square icons on the screen rolling through all the famous ex-HM's (Sara-Marie, Jess, Reggie, etc). It said something along the lines of: "The original and the best. Big Brother is coming back home to Ten. 2015."

It was oh so GLORIOUS until I woke up. :bawling:

Their slogan is almost identical to what I dreamt, except ten years later.
