Big Brother back in 2025 on 10! AND LIVE!

I could see 30 or 60 minute free live streams following on from evictions (& possibly other live shows) being considered for YouTube & other social media channels, to direct eyeballs to 10play, Paramount+, etc. If this did take place I wonder would it be an uninterrupted house feed or have some kind of host or commentary role (e.g. I'm A Celebrity AU 2015 Fallout Zone on 10play)

There won’t be any benefit for 10 having them on all these different platforms.
They’ll want to direct them directly to 10, to get the eyes balls, ratings and money from sponsorships.
Will this be in out of the ratings season 10 has a lot to lose, they need more eyes balls on 10. They’ll be keeping it plain and simple like the first couple of season when 10 had it.

The point would be to have just enough additional content outside of the 10 ecosystem to get more eyeballs onto 10play and/or Paramount+. Think of people who are casually browsing social media and a live feed preview shows up in their timeline (perhaps their friend liked it or mentioned them in a comment). And it would be best IMO if these were timed to occur after live TV shows, both to not take away TV viewership but also to increase the live stream subscribers. Obviously these previews should advertise the 24/7 stream on 10play/Paramount+.
But I agree, for any mentions in the broadcast show on 10, these make sense to direct to 10play or Paramount+.
Surely the benefit is to get people who use different social media sites. Not all people will be signed up to everything. if fact most are not. But if they are going to limit themselves to only one social media platform then picking X/Twitter seems a strange choice. You Tube and Facebook are currently the most used social media platforms in Australia currently.*They will use twitter for updates and highlights.

I've basically abandoned Twitter since that fascist took over. When I do look there, it's my policy not to engage with or enable the people who remain. It's a shame so many of the big accounts there stay, instead of moving to Bluesky. Gutless really, because they don't support that c--t, but don't want to start from scratch on another platform, so they turn a blind eye to it.Surely the benefit is to get people who use different social media sites. Having said that, that type of platform is perfect for Big Brother. I'd prefer it to FB. FB is so cluttered with ads and featured crap now it's a nightmare. If I had my way, 10 would use Bluesky, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Honestly the audience poll to see a housemate say/do/receive something seems a little cheesy to me.I think one concession to the modern world would be, as well as the audience voting to evict or save or whatever, that there’s another level of interactivity. With a live feed, they could have flash voting within an immediate time period, like within the next hour, just for the audience to control the narrative in the house in a small way. Vote for someone to perform a task, take a punishment, wear something ridiculous, etc. It would enliven the experience of watching the live feed, help create content for the daily show, plus give Ch 10 direct feedback re. audience engagement, and gauge HM popularity among the public (especially among the people avoiding nomination). They could monetize it by pay walling it, or members could buy credits to spend on votes, since 10 won’t be making their phone call voting moolah.
I think of it this way - if they decide they are going to do something anyway they can either have production choose who does the thing or have the audience decide. I personally think I like the idea of allowing the audience to decide sometimes as it is more interactive for us as viewers..Honestly the audience poll to see a housemate say/do/receive something seems a little cheesy to me.

Well duh. Sonia has always been terrible and been complained about non-stop - plus she's also contracted to Seven.Meanwhile, an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that previous Big Brother hosts Gretel Killeen and Sonia Kruger were “never considered” to front the 2025 revival.
As for Gretel, she's always been distancing herself from the format since she left in 2007 (there was a story where Estelle ran into her once and got a photo with her and Gretel made her promise that if it was posted on social media, there could be zero references to BB in the post). The only time she's ever really spoken about it was when it just so happened that when she was doing press after The Masked Singer AU was airing in 2019 and Seven's revival was announced at the same time and so she ended up being somewhat forced into talking about BB publicly for the first time in years. The lack of consideration for 2025 would've absolutely been mutual.
