But then remember were starting to get ones like Chad and Josh (VIP) coming in with their parents having been big fans of the show too. Actually I take that back a little bit, they'd be old enough to have potentially seen some of the first few TEN series as it ran first hand. 26 and (Josh is 31? I thought he was like 22-24ish for some reason).

I guess the difference with BB Aus is that it was quite kid friendly in the Ten era, so people were watching it around 8 years old or something, so someone in their late 20s may just about remember the early series.

Would be a neat twist if at least one of the newbies was the child of an original housemate. Indeed would be a nice twist in the future to have "Big Brother: The Next Generation" with all the HMs being children of previous HMs, but probably need to wait a few more years for that to be viable. I don't think many HMs in the Ten era had children at the time they were in the house.

I'm guessing the intention will be to do a live final for this in six months time or whenever it airs but I wonder if they'll pre-record a fake final anyway just in case with covid in mind.

Not sure which is worse really - either way they're completely detached from the experience.

Possible eviction spoiler.
Estelle just tweeted for the first time since 11th October.

I have absolutely no idea what to believe with her. It seems someone has been running her Instagram whilst she’s been away. But the date of October 11th checks out with the rumoured start date, so maybe she did last long. It that’s the case that’s potentially 6 of the rumoured all stars making it to day 59. Based on social media guesses anyway.

It's inevitable they're looking at three All Stars in the final, though the narrative usually sees at least one newbie carried through. The sad thing is the way the show was cast and is skewed to one season in particular it really looks like it'll be the people from the Nine years dominating.

I should note that list I wrote I accidentally put Tim Tully drew as BB9 when they’re BB10! So not 5 people from one season. But 5 people from
The channel 9 era, so tbh it’s not entirely different. The core age group watching this show atm is most likely younger people who watched the channel 9 version, so most of the fans will be rooting for Tim or drew or Layla anyway. But I’m not surprised the BB10 crew all allegedly do well since there is 3 of them.

I think they'd really love a final 3 of all stars, especially for the hype of the season. But yeah I expect it to be mainly Nine personalities in the end, although there a few TEN names who haven't been confirmed to be evicted yet, and theres also a few more names we don't even know about yet.

I've heard a rumour one of Jess or Marty was asked. I'd tip the one they'd ideally want and also the one who would do it is Jess. Whether or not that is true I am unsure. If it is true that Drew is in then I can see Tim utilising him and the two make it to the end together or somewhat close. I would guess production would do all they can to get Tim and Reggie to the end at least. And you are right in multiple BB and Survivor fans vs faves there is usually always a random newbie there, not always the best of them either. If Tim makes it to final 3 I am almost 100% certain he wins again. Personally I will be rooting for Reggie.

I like the idea of Tim an Sara Marie forming an alliance/friendship that take them both far.

Some of the channel nine housemates must have been fans of the channel ten days and Tim and Tully I think would have been two of them, so would be excited to be in the house with some of them.

I could see this likely happening. I’m sure many of the returnees will work together as this is pretty much a staple in mixed and vets themed reality tv seasons. I’m sure many will want to be on Tim’s good side.

Sara-Marie has no social media so it’s impossible to know if she’s still there. But I’d like the idea of her working with Tim, if those two and Reggie were the final 3 I think it would be the one and only final 3 where I’d be happy with any outcome.

If Tully is there I'll try to be nice. Well, I'll try to try.

Good point, though suspect the novelty with them being "All Stars" themselves wouldn't be the same as if they were doing Big Brother for the first time. Indeed it's putting Big Brother legends in the same category as, well, Tully.

I wonder too how many opportunities the stars of later series had to meet the older alumni. As I said previously I suspect housemates from different series of the Nine era probably ended up mixing and socialising quite a bit, and there were a few pre-Big Brother connections too - and whilst in the Ten era I suspect housemates from consecutive seasons at least probably crossed paths on occassion, have to wonder of the people in there how many are meeting for the first time.

Sara-Marie said in her Mama Mia interview that the S1 cast didn't stay in touch afterwards, but ofc that was the pre-social media era, whereas since the Nine era they all followed and friended each other, and probably across seasons as well. So I'd say the HMs from Ten's seasons probably haven't interacted with each other, let alone the later casts. Unless the latter actively sought them out online.

Ok so Tully is back on social media but I’m a tad perplexed as she certainly appears to have been out and about during this time? I guess it’s possible she really was doing a social media detox, or maybe she was following instructions about not posting until x date?

A member here said she was seen online about 10 days ago which is when we assume she was evicted.
