I do wonder, if this is the actual theme, it means well have a relatively short opening titles sequence? I'm expecting to see a reference to Dreamworld and the "One WInner, You Decide" then the eye. Who knows.
Almost guaranteed to be the case, imo.

Something like the 03/04 and 05/06/07 opening titles with the animations of the housemates living in the house with the iconic theme song playing would be the ultimate dream opening for me. Hopefully it’s a long intro rather than a short one. Especially on the Eviction shows, the opening titles brought up the hype.

I tend to think we'll see shorter titles than we were used to from OG 10 era. But longer titles would be nice. I am curious if we'll see any variations on the titles, i.e. colour coding or different lengths (i.e. 2008 daily shows were short, live shows longer).

Would be crazy if they just recycled the 03 titles 😂 They're almost timeless, but it wouldn't work with the new eye, and the Tower of Terror ride shut down years ago.

You and your colour coded titles. This gives me flashbacks. 😂 I definitely agree though.

Considering that seemed to be a trademark during all the OG Ten seasons, we may just see a return to form!

It could be, but it's not really like the 2003 theme. I will point out, they're using a lot of Peter (Cunningham), I've not heard any new Leon BB voice overs since the "Interesting group of housemates" promo.
The short snappy 7pm Sunday promos feature Leon.

Yeah interesting point. I feel going live before the first episodes broadcasts will ruin housemate reveals and generally seeing the house in full.

I’m not expecting the stream to go on early, but I think the show can get away with it launching online first.

Germany is getting away with it these days. Celebrity housemates move in 2-3 days before the show starts on TV. Two years ago, when they’ve brought back live feeds, they started to launch the feeds early. The launch show on TV is still live and they usually have a few more people move in during that show. It didn't hurt the ratings either, it was the first time in 4 or 5 years that ratings for the launch actually increased.

The Netherlands have done in it as well in the 00s with the feeds being launched a couple of days up or even up to a week early. Their reasoning was that this way, they can have a more interesting launch on TV. Which is also the reason why Germany started to send in their celebrities early and it's one of the reasons why Australia sticks with a pre-recorded launch as well. They can show more than just people moving in.

I feel like it would especially well in Australia, because they usually have a live special on Day 2. That one could easily be remodelled into the launch show. The downside might be that you don't have the live audience that cheers on the housemates. German celebrities just move in and are then greeted by Big Brother. But you could always add a crowd in front of the house, even if the launch is just on the internet.

So yeah.. I'd recommend to launch live on the internet next year. I expect it to work just fine. Everyone that watches the feeds, will watch the live shows anyways.

Also... interesting they've updated the eye logo (again) after we mentioned liking the idea of the iris being a camera lens (at least that's what I think it could be).

No Up Late/Uncut, will be a disappointment for fans -

To quote Mel -
“This year there’s no return of Big Brother Up Late (or Uncut),” Tracina said. “We’re keeping it PG.”
The host said viewers will be able to watch all the action from the house via a live stream 24/7, but added, “again, that will be moderated to make sure that everything we broadcast is up to broadcast standards”.

Damn......

Uplate is redundant. As Mel said, we have live streams now.

The show was mostly used as a cash cow for extra revenue - a product of the 2000s when late-night call-in quiz shows were huge in Europe, UK and eventually Australia. The only aspect of Uplate that's relevant in 2025 is the occasional live footage from the house, which we'll be able to access (uninterrupted) anyway.

Scrolling through MediaSpy and apparently there's also a Talkin' 'Bout Your Gen variant of the "BB Interruption" promo.

Combined with the above "billboard dash", seems like this is one angle for their campaign this week: Big Brother infiltrating Ten.
