So based on this, a forthcoming bedroom and bathroom promo seems likely too...

Considering we got multiple last night, maybe there'll be a couple more during The Cheat Seats?

My views not that anyone cares 😂
The eye is abit of a shame, yes.
The house doesn't appear to be that good and definitely follows the UK version and channel 7 version. However let's just be greatful big brother is back!.
It was destroyed by channel 7 and I thought the show would never be back. Let's just be greatful at least channel 10 are doing live streaming, live nominations and live evictions because even during the channel 9 era they had live nominations filmed at dreamworld however the housemates actually nominating was recorded earlier. So let's be happy the show is given another chance.
Yes, if I was working for the show and made all the decisions I would of done some things differently, like build a purpose built house and auditorium and use a more traditional eye just to name a few. However we have to be realistic because channel 10 aren't going to pump a heap of money into a show that is on its 4th life. Let's just pray Big brother works and the viewers turn in and let's just be greatful it's back how it should be.

I just got a BB-tailored 10 ident

“This watchful eye is back”
*flips over to a photo of Mel*
“Game on molls!”

@the Theorist Just checked my DOND recording, there WAS a promo in the bedroom during the last ad break!

Heck yeah!! I suspected we'd get an influx of promos in the two weeks til Launch, but I didn't anticipate so many so quickly. Maybe they should've just dropped one per night this week.

Hopefully next week's promos are NOT Housemate reveals...🫣

The house promos are currently being shown during The Cheap Seats and Mel is chatting about them.

EDIT: A bit of a nothing segment. But some nice cross promotion.
ugh this is like the 4th week in a row I have forgotten to watch the cheap seats live. Did she say anything worth mentioning about the show at all?

Not really. They just played the Entrance and Diary Room promos, made a couple jokes then played a gag promo of Mel in the (presumably) Cheap Seats offices showing off a photocopier. That was about it.

I was hoping they'd start to pack a bit more in about BB by this stage, but at least next week is the final episode before the season starts. So if we're going to get anything from them next Tuesday is the night we'll get it.

They just played another gag promo (completely branded as if it was a real one) as a bumper out of an ad break into The Cheap Seats.

"This is the fire exit the housemates will use in case of an emergency!" 🧯lol...

Same! We think it's Pete Cunningham from the Nine era. In all honesty, I wouldn't mind if he became the main voice... it's the perfect blend of Nick's deeper tone with the youth of Leon, without sounding completely contrived and cartoonish. It's hot.

Give Pete the gig!
For those who haven't seen, this is Peter Cunningham (Left)

Mel is wearing the same clothes as the promos in that video. There are definite sightings of some of the interiors we've seen from the promos (@Kingston 😘) but, as suspected, a lot also appears unfinished... at least it was whenever they filmed this.

The average Australian household doesn't watch nearly as much free-to-air as they used to, so there's really no point withholding them if they want to maximise exposure. 99.9% of the country don't care about the show nearly as much as most on this forum - they're certainly not going to nitpick over it - so differentiating promos in the same time slot will help to reinforce amongst captive audiences while they have their attention.

What I hope most is that we can give this first series some grace to try and get things right. They know they have some course correcting to do, but also have to find a balance of what worked of the legacy Ten-era series and what modern audiences demand from modern reality TV. Translating the show for Gens Z and Alpha is going to be part of that.

To that degree, I'm kinda glad this first run is only four weeks so they can use it to test and learn. We don't need to worry about the series going anywhere in the short term - given how they're putting it front and centre for the 2026 upfronts, we can safely expect a bigger investment next year. I fully expect we'll get a full civillian series and a celeb run in 2026.
