Originally they said it would be excluded from the 2006 stream (which it was) purely to save time but will re-include it in that season’s playlist later.
That's probably a much better way to do things in 2025. A special retrospective just before relaunching the series would likely leave it too much to stand up too.Official confirmation during the 2007 stream that my manifesting has FLOPPED.haha

I'm pretty sure I saw someone bring it up first and asked them if they could do something with it as a farewell to the marathons over the last few months as a somewhat retrospective type thing before we launch into the new era.

I wonder whether they'll "test run" the house like when radio hosts used to live in the house for a few days before the season. I think Tim Ferguson was part of it before Season 3 as well.
Good question, I'd say that would be standard practice, stand-in's are needed to ensure cameras are positioned correctly, so no blind spots, obstructions, etc. And test the audio, as in microphones and ensure BB's voice works in different rooms, etc.
I'm probably looking too much into this... just thinking of the timeline here.
Depends on the radio station and show Iirc last year I remember being slightly surprised Kyle & Jackie O wrapped up for summer break like in the last 1 or 2 weeks of November playing their yearly best bits segment, when iirc they've done the first week or so of December before.
