Yeah, that is the thing that doesn't make me that excited to have his voice back. Big Brother was occupied with being the housemate's mate rather than being an authority figure on the 9 series: The "family-friendly" vibes. If the Big Brother persona is more serious this time I'd be happy.

Not Leon!!!!!!! Fun promo though. But really disappointed about Leon, he is too well known as the "family friendly" voice.

1000% agree. Why couldn't they go in a different direction with the voice. Leon was a terrible big brother. His voice isn't powerful or scary enough and it was pure family friendly, so disappointed

I am glad ten went with Leon and not an awful ai voice. I imagine it could have been so easy to make the big brother character a robot like channel 7 era, both saving on a voice actor and making it easier to manipulate in post.

Same here. Thats two weeks of guaranteed shit ratings for TEN unless they do some sort of lead in specials.

I'm not mad about Leon, actually I prefer it tbh lol. I personally feel like it's a smart move, it will win a lot of the Ch9 viewers and to me it kind of seems like the right way to go about dismissing the channel 7 era completely by reclaiming a small piece of the Ch9 era but with more focus on the ch10 vibe. IDK it just seems right to me.
