The way they are emphasising 24/7 Live Streaming feels promising, and exciting.
Also loving the dark colours in the still graphics and the new eye.

Leon did work on Uplate though, at least. Not Leon!!!!!!! Fun promo though. But really disappointed about Leon, he is too well known as the "family friendly" voice.

Wahoo!
Live Updates is what my memory has in it.Ok forgive me, and correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't the channel 9 version promote live streams, and it turned out to just be Twitter updates? Or did they promote it as Live Updates? Can anyone shed light on that?
So are they just running a month long series. Just to give us something because of the channel 7 thing. I feel like, other big brothers around the world have done the studio house build and deem the full on house build like the OG house unnecessary. I’d really like to see a purpose built house. I hope they get the viewing numbers to make it a bigger and longer show next year.
I’m suspecting there’s more to them using “Bad Guy” in this promo than it just being a fun bop.I’m so happy Leon’s back as BB. His version has sounded the best to me personally but hopefully more of a serious tone than the buddy buddy energy he gave in c9 era to the housemates

I keep on running,planning,running,planning,ohyeah
He’s not. He works for ITV Australia.Ew.
Ew.
Ew.
I just had a horrific thought.
What if Alex Mavroidakis is involved here? I'm sure he'd try to bring back Leon.
I know, right? Launch date announcement but no theme ... not even just at the endI’m more mad about the BB Theme song being snubbed

The promo made me all giddy with excitement.
I love Leon’s voice. The playfulness with Mel was fun! Bring on 9th Nov!

True. The BB theme song should be playing instead. Most are mad at the voice, I’m more mad about the BB Theme song being snubbed for a Billie Eilish song that came out almost 6 years ago.
“The Amazing Race” is set to end on October 20, so 10 will need filler programming for Oct 26/Oct 27 and Nov 2/Nov 3. Ideally, you would have wanted Big Brother to launch right away after The Amazing Race finishes, getting viewers to stick around in the same time slot. The 2-week gap is a bit of a worry. However, it would be awesome if they had a Big Brother retrospective special on the Sunday before (with Mel hosting, ex-housemates and Gretel speaking) but there is no evidence of any such special happening.

I think the use of Bad Guy is fine - the length of the promo means the original theme would not complement the playfulness of the promo between Mel & BB, they will run heaps of sharp short promos with the original theme

Yeah, that is the thing that doesn't make me that excited to have his voice back. Big Brother was occupied with being the housemate's mate rather than being an authority figure on the 9 series: The "family-friendly" vibes. If the Big Brother persona is more serious this time I'd be happy.I’m so happy Leon’s back as BB. The Block finale airs October 26, so 10 probably wanted to avoid that.True. The BB theme song should be playing instead.

We also now know the premiere will air at 7 pm on Sunday, interesting if it takes that slot during the week too.

Also just in: Big Brother Is Always Watching. Big Brother Premieres Sunday, 9 November At 7pm On 10. All eyes will be on the Big Brother House when TV’s original social experiment returns to 10 on Sunday, 9 November at 7pm. In 2001, Big Brother made history, and in 2025, Big...

Agreed. Why do we have to suffer with Leon again. There have been so many better voices or could go with a new voice for a fresh era but nope back to this rubbishI don’t want Leon back![]()
