Not sure how well this idea would play out, but I was watching an old live episode from a few years ago yesterday and someone suggested that an interesting twist would be for the HM's to not know who is nominated each week at all and only announce the evictee at the end of the week.
It made me wonder, would a twist like that really be effective? I think it could be.
I mean, is there really any main purpose for the HM's to know who's nominated each week, apart from the obvious reason?
If they were to make their nominations each week as per usual, the public would still know who's up (and absolutely nothing would change on our end, in terms of voting and episode/video packages) with the only difference being that the people in the house would have absolutely no idea who could be leaving until Sonia says "it's time to go..." that Sunday.
I'd say we'd also see another side to each HM due to this, both during the week and especially during the eviction. Plus, it'd be something very different than what we're used to seeing on Big Brother, and HM's could potentially have absolutely no idea who is and isn't well liked amongst each other in the house, therefore making for some really interesting dynamics/viewing.
Could it work?
I like the idea!!!!
It could be nerve wracking for the HM's but that's showbiz.
