I don't even get your point though, Lanai?![]()
If it's such a hard word, maybe that is a good indication that you're too young for this site...

So back on topic...
What are the odds of them using things like Surly again? If they're actually serious about getting older housemates in, it seems a bit counter productive to make up characters like that again that are surely only aimed at a younger demographic...
Surly is based on a twist used in BBUK... I don't think it has an age limit...

Anyone gonna start a thread for Perth Auditions?

Anyone gonna start a thread for Perth Auditions?
An individual thread for Auditions in each city isn't really needed... A general thread should suffice...
The "Are you Auditioning for BB?" thread should be sufficient enough for audition-related discussions.Anyone gonna start a thread for Perth Auditions?

Michael was the biggest show pony of all the show ponies in all the show pony land, including Estelle's pony.
End of story.

Oh, how I love show pony land! And yes, Michael was the showiest of them all

And Alex is still pushing the "unlucky 13" barrow.
$10 says housemate number 13 will have to be the BBUK Deana of our season and nominate three others immediately (or like the day after entering)

The snap nominations twist has really been done to death... Please let that NOT be the twist... Even if it's "copied" from elsewhere I'd love to see something BB Australia hasn't really done before... For example BB Australia has done two houses but never a full blown battle series... A large group of fans have been begging for a return of FNL which would fit nicely in to the battle format... A live challenge that follows the eviction show will determine where the HM's will live for the next week and they can even work in a nomination twist in with the living arrangements...

Hey, that is a good idea. I like it.
The problem with any challenge stuff is that it has to be fair for everyone.
Also I don't want to see contestants eating gross stuff again. It's just lame.

There doesn't seem to be as much content on the Facebook page regarding auditions this year as there was last year. Last year they had lots of videos and pictures and a Little Sis blog after each housemate hunt stop over. This year there has been zero Lil Sis blogs, 1 video and roughly 20 pictures.

Hmm I agree with that 50/50..
They did do a number of pre audition day videos posted via both FB and YouTube BB accounts, of the video auditions and I've counted 3 videos now since the audition days have started plus they have the "black board pics".. the meet a last year constant pic.
and Lil sis is for now.. using FB, both from her own page and via Big brothers page to post the audition day wrap ups.

That's true there needs to be a good mix of challenges... What I'd like to see if the battle format is used is a mix of mental challenges and physical... And then a mix of individual and team challenges... That way you aren't always seeing the same winners and losers...
The majority of HM's should live in both areas with a different mix of HM's each time...
With The Battle they are essentially eliminating the weekly task though, so they will need to add other challenges to make up the slack... It would be interesting if they added a challenge that dealt with a nominations power as well... Something that would determin the amount of point the different sides nominate for... Like the winning side has a full 5 nominations points, while the losing side only gets 3 and not nessisarily just the rich has the power or poor side gets the short end of the stick...
I'd also like to see a luxury challenge in there as well... They've really got to play up that the twist is a struggle between the two sides of the house, the poor side is fighting to make their life easier, and the rich side is fighting to keep what they have and more...

I'd like to see more 'every dog for his self' type competitiveness at least for the opening few weeks.
I still stand by my idea of shutting them in a bare room with a door, a door that has a light above it that turns green when the door is unlocked, first HM to get their hand on the door gets into the house... 18 HMs, only 14 get in or something like that. This would run for the first 36 hours, make them exhausted, bored, cranky... sleep deprivation does wonders for reality tv.

I still haven't seen any of the wrap ups. Could you help me out Robbie? Possibly with a link or 2 haha. Thanks!!Hmm I agree with that 50/50..

Not sure how well this idea would play out, but I was watching an old live episode from a few years ago yesterday and someone suggested that an interesting twist would be for the HM's to not know who is nominated each week at all and only announce the evictee at the end of the week.
It made me wonder, would a twist like that really be effective? I think it could be.
I mean, is there really any main purpose for the HM's to know who's nominated each week, apart from the obvious reason?
If they were to make their nominations each week as per usual, the public would still know who's up (and absolutely nothing would change on our end, in terms of voting and episode/video packages) with the only difference being that the people in the house would have absolutely no idea who could be leaving until Sonia says "it's time to go..." that Sunday.
I'd say we'd also see another side to each HM due to this, both during the week and especially during the eviction. Plus, it'd be something very different than what we're used to seeing on Big Brother, and HM's could potentially have absolutely no idea who is and isn't well liked amongst each other in the house, therefore making for some really interesting dynamics/viewing.
Could it work?
