Considering their whole mantra during these marathons has been “we don't want to be revisionist and will let it play out”, I’d be very surprised if they touched it. They haven’t censored a single thing as yet and, given there’s already been a lot that could’ve been edited if they felt like it, I’d say it’s likely to (rightfully) stream as is. Thankfully.Nothing offensive about throwing beans or anything on a flag. Lmao. Mexico overreacted. Sheesh.
It should be shown. If it were a German or Italian flag, would they still pull that episode off?

Aww! That is so lovely. Thank you for sharing. Kate was one of my favourite housemates this year. I’m very pleased to see all the Kate love on here. It’s wonderful to hear she is a nice person. She seemed very gay-friendly.Loving the rewatch of this season!! I’ll always remember being a baby 19 yr old closeted gay when this season aired and was wondering around drunk in Melbourne one night, was on my own, when Kate noticed that I was alone, asked if I was ok and OBVIOUSLY her gaydar would be off the charts and took me with her friends to the Market hotel in South Yarra - my first experience at a gay bar - and had the most profound and wonderful night in my trajectory to being myself. Fond memories of this season especially because of that.

I don't think they'll pull the episode.. and I don't want to speak for the Italians, but I do think that it would have caused some issues if it was the German flag and would have found its way into tabloid press here.
Case in point: John de Mol's sister Linda is one of the most popular hosts in the Netherlands and used to be a pretty popular host in Germany as well. On one of her Dutch shows (which was later modelled into Deal or no Deal), one of the contestants could have won 10 million guilders if he had known the composer of the German national anthem. When he answered wrongly, Linda said something like "well, it's a shit song anyways" to comfort the guy.
And that caused a huge uproar in Germany, was nominated for the embarrassing TV host and some nutbag even reported her to the prosecutors for that comment. It didn't go to court though.

Wahoo!
Oh. So this explains why when Reggie popped into the chat he started talking about how he recently had a chat with Jamie 2003. He then posted a link directly to the podcast on Spotify - but because I assumed it was someone else's shit podcast, I didn't look at it - and was encouraging people to look at it.Looks like Jamie’s planning on recapping / podcasting the new season:

john might've been the walrus, but paul was a cat
Holy shit, core memory unlocked. I moved to Geelong (where Kate's from) in 2009 and everyone was throwing around 'hungus' and 'dezzie'. Haven't heard it in years but it needs a resurgence. She had so many hilarious one-liners in the house (“you’re a hungus”

I really wish Kara or Harrison had gotten the chance to go into the main house. They seemed like young hell raisers and people who would have at least tried to shake up the house a bit. Demet's only contribution to the house was being a more boring version of Emma.

I think the second half of the season is just such a snooze fest other than the Michelle and Aleisha fight that people forget the first half was decent. But when you had tasks like that news ones where they had to be newsreaders, towards the end, you instantly realised how boring all the housemates were left except Zack and Aleisha. The 07 cast benefit from the series being considered unmemorable. There has been minimum focus on it in the years since, even Emma isn’t really talked about a lot. Probably why a lot of them are happy to join in the chat since there possibly hasn’t been as much direct scrutiny towards them as opposed to other series.
I feel like it’s a series that only gets praise by die hard super fans. It’s strange because Emma is in my mind one of the biggest villain housemates of all time. Maybe the biggest female villain ever! And Aleisha is such a strong winner and Zach is the first intruder to make it to the finale. There’s a lot to praise and remember, it just suffers from the time it aired.

The rumour I heard was that obviously they vetted all the winners, chose some random number they liked to be interviewed by production and then picked 5 that were going to be suitable to go into the house. Then the 'winner' was drawn from those 5 on the night. The fact there was 4 women and only 1 man eligible to go in makes me think this may well have had some truth to it.Susannah: Spoiler - The golden ticket winner was actually not meant to be the person who won - I think they had it earmarked for another person. But I’m so happy the person that got in came into the house

The pen is mightier than the sword.
Kara was a very 2005-ish housemate. She suited being in the previous seasons. But she definitely would've been a good value in the house. I could've seen her fighting with others and being feisty. Harrison seemed like a boring college student who kept it to himself. Doubt he would've contributed to anything in the house. He probably would've been another Zoran. Kara and Cruz would've been good additions. They would've shook up the house IMO.I really wish Kara or Harrison had gotten the chance to go into the main house. They seemed like young hell raisers and people who would have at least tried to shake up the house a bit. Demet's only contribution to the house was being a more boring version of Emma.
My take on the "specials" in the season? No white room crapola and the golden key BS (sorry, this means no Nick). I know these were included to jazz up the show as the ratings were declining. Either the housemates or the public should have voted in Kara, Harrison, Cruz or Demet (I'd say TWO of them). The special show could have been titled "Intruders: You VOTE Them In" or something.
Demet was alright but she tried to so hard to impress Bodie by hating on Andrew & Hayley. Like gurl, you're a beauty, you'd get many men. Why the jealousy of the two? And why join this frat boy just be 'cool'? You are above Bodie. Girls like Demet see guys like Bodie as juveniles and laughable. I never got Demet's mindset here. I think she was probably playing the game by joining the 'cool' group. But look how far it got her in the game.

That had already happened though, The white room contestants were left over from the wildcard vote that sent Susannah and Zoran in. Wonder how they would've went in the White room had any combo two of the others been voted in instead.Either the housemates or the public should have voted in Kara, Harrison, Cruz or Demet (I'd say TWO of them). The special show could have been titled "Intruders: You VOTE Them In" or something.
