Rewatch Big Brother 2007 YouTube stream (10-12 Oct & 17-19 Oct)

Looks like chat is back to licking Jamie's ass.

Someone said the footage from 2007 of Jamie was giving them an ick (fair enough imo) and some asshats jumped to defend him.
 
It looks like Billy Bentley has turned up in the chat. Not confirmed if it's him yet, but this season has definitely had the most HMs in chat already.

I assume its not. Based on past marathons, BB reaches out to the casts in the weeks leading up to the marathons asking if they're coming to the chat so they can pre-mark them as legitimate. Would be odd this is the only time it hasn't happened since this is the tenth live stream.

Nah, I've seen them asking to verify one of two via DM over the past few weeks, and they've done it.

Seems like the disparities from the house still exist in some form - Susannah made sure everyone knew she was not watching the stream while some Emma/Aleisha/Bodie footage was being shown, making comments about “fakeness”. Jamie supported her.

I wonder how they feel with Bodie and Billy now conversing in the chat. I noticed Jamie has suddenly gone quiet (finally). lol

Strange season this one. I don’t feel like I can give Kris Noble much credit as no doubt they received some pressure after the 2006 controversy to dial back the “young, horny singles” angle. Noble still attempted to capture that market to a degree, but outside of that, this season actually returned the casting to a more 2003/2004 style focussing on mix of personalities. Kind of felt like they got plenty right this season but the ship had already sailed and they went in a completely new direction for 2008 as we know.

Rewatching last night I genuinely forgot how weird Thomas was. 27 year old male but he’s more like a timid, 16 year old. Bizarre… He clearly had crazy self esteem issues but it was borderline negligent putting him in the house. Likewise Rebecca and Jamie. Not entirely sure how all three passed the psych testing.

Speaking of Rebecca, she genuinely terrified me. Watching this in 2007, I don’t think I’d ever met anyone like her in Australia. Her intense, religious beliefs were more akin to an American. It was like watching an American religious freak in an Australians body. It really wigged me tf out. Again, have to feel sorry for her. You could tell she really struggled to be herself for fear of not fitting in. Whenever she did open up and be herself, her weirdness was too much for both the fellow housemates and those watching. Just randomly singing and clapping and all round doing way too much.

I don't think they do as I reached out to Jamie just yesterday and sent him the link to the YouTube channel.
