Ben (2012) or Tim (2013) Who is worthier?

I loved Tim's time in the house. I think he was an excellent housemate. One of the best!

I wasn't as calculated as him and I was no way near as smart either. I agree that I was lucky to have Stacey but I was also lucky to have Michael and Josh. Without those three I was nothing.

The cast makes the show. Our cast were all amazing. While this year it was all about Tim, Ben and Tully. Who carried the show.

Can't wait for series 11. I am officially excited.

p.s I tried hard to do well last night and I am working to improve. Your feed back is always welcome

Oh I do love it when posters become this connected. So I'll play along.... Benjamin, your Scoopla interviews have been more revealing and enjoyable than any radio/tv or evictions chats. Hehe...

Seeing Ben and oats a Layla again last night brought back bad memories of them. I wanted Estelle to win!! Stacey did Ben no favours either. Horrible! I cant stand Laylas accent. She did remind me of scary spice last night. Who voted for Ben2012 to win??

Not me. He was horrible. Estelle deserved the win. The way she was treated in that house was just bullying, plain and simple, with Ben being the key bully.

I think Ben was carried a lot of the way by Stacy, if it wasnt for that friendship I don't think he would have made it far. Tim stuck to himself, and bought entertainment to the show without the help of others.

Agreed. Ben was part of a "cool group" along with Stacey, Zoe, Josh and Michael. That group controlled the whole game, and were hardly nominated throughout the series.

Tim was better, though arrogant. The problem this year was that the storyline followed a predictable course from start to end. Tim was prominent from the first week as the puppetmaster, Tahan was shown as the mean girl from the start, Jade was meant to be the showmance HM as well.

I was happy with both as winners, but in terms of earning it, Tim made the show, it would have been lacking something if he wasn't there. Last year would have been lacking something too without Ben, but not to the same degree, as it still would have had Michael and some of the others creating content. Both were worthy winners, but Tim moreso.

Someone posted this on the site:

A Boy came 1st - Tim/Benjamin
A Girl came 2nd - Jade/Layla
A Girl came 3rd - Tahan/Estelle
A Boy came 4th - Drew/Michael
A Girl came 5th - Boog/Zoe
A Boy came 6th - Ed/Sam
A Girl came 7th - Madaline/Stacey
A Girl came 8th - Mikkayla/Angie
A Boy came 9th - Ben/Josh
A Boy came 10th - Nathan/Bradley
A Girl came 11th - Katie&Lucy/Ava
A Boy came 12th - Justynn/George

The chance of this happening is 4.16%

Ive said it before but ive rarely watched bb before let alone voted. This year ive watched every ep and sent in thousands of votes. For one reason, Tim.

You need to keep in mind that BB loved Ben, not so much us. We liked him but he was only the number 1 fav to a handful, everyone else liked Tim and Ben or Drew and Ben or Jade and Ben and so on. He never deserved the win, we just assumed he would be a contender for it with how much BB loved him. All polls done online showed that he never scored high. Funny that, no one thought he would leave but no one voted for him to stay. I think BB showing him love made people just assume he was loved and safe.

I think the question is about Benjamin the winner of last year not Ben from this year ;)

Even though I doubt Ben would really bother posting in here this is pretty much close to what he would say. Ben if you are reading, I know you know how loved you are and that this forum still has many bitter Estelle fans LOL. Two naughty boys won, two years in a row and they can't take that away from you.

He wasn't 'naughty', he was a bitter camp guy with anger issues. He tried to pass off this bitterness as being part of an alter ego he had. I actually found Angie more entertaining with her moods, I guess bitchy camp men are more allowed to get away with stuff for some people. Ben should have gone before her.

As much as Ben's social game was on par with Tim's, Tim's entertained more. Ben was just lucky that Michael kissed Estelle, heh heh heh :P

I wonder if Tim's way of playing will somehow influence how the game is played in the future; now that it's proven that a loud-mouthed entertainer can win. Then again, Jade came 2nd...

Tim by far!

Last year's finale felt really off for me. Ben couldn't even contain his nastiness during the finale and Layla went right along with it.

The final 5 this year were so much better and I loved seeing Tim acting like a big brother to Jade when it was just the 2 of them left. "I believed in you when you didn't believe in yourself"... now that's good TV!

Agreed. The way Ben and (to a lesser extent) Layla celebrated last year when Estelle was evicted was just horrible. I know that they weren't friends with her, but they could have at least shown some compassion.

There were rivalries this year, but I didn't see any housemates cheering about someone else being evicted.

Ben by far.

Tim was alright, but he came across as a spoiled child that whinged too much. On a bias note, I just thought, with Ben being evicted early, it was rather sad to see Tim go through.

Btw, I don't get the universal consensus of the hatred towards Benjamin. Hell, even Ben '13 was mostly disliked (who was an angel compared to Benjamin). What's this for, is it because they're gay or what?

No. Zach from season 7 was voted most worthy runner-up in another poll, and he was gay.

I loved Ben from this year.

I hated Ben from last year because:

1) He and his "cool group" created a gang to bully Estelle.
2) His group also attacked Ava and Sam because they wouldn't join in the Estelle hate.
3) whenever a housemate would leave the room, he couldn't wait 5 minutes to bitch about them.
4) Most of his personality was related to his bitchiness, or his friendship with Stacey.
5) He was hardly ever nominated throughout the whole series, then when he got nominated in the last 2 weeks, he had a tantrum and sulked for days.
6) Taking Estelle's horse toy and throwing it over the fence.
7) Throwing water over Bradley.
8) The way he celebrated when Estelle was evicted.

I know he had some funny moments, but so did most other housemates. I just don't see why people think he was entertaining.
I don't understand how constantly bitching about people is classed as "entertainment". Same reason I don't like Tahan from this year, but she wasn't as ad as Benjamin.

Ben from this year was really nice. He is quite popular with the public, but doesn't seem to have many fans on the forum. Not sure why.

That's exactly right, but it seems like, mysteriously, Ben is much more hated (despite them being similar). I personally thought (since I'm not so blinded like many people here) that Tim was as two-faced and sly as Ben (arguably worse even), but yet he has to get the universal hate? I just can't buy this.

I mean...Tim constantly nominated his friends. Ben didn't (okay, he nommed Zoe once, but that's it; just ONCE). Not to mention, some of the housemates hated Tim's guts and started to fight/argue with him (Jasmine, Ed, Tully, Boog, MIKKAYLA). With Ben, um, Angie sort of told him off about her bear, and that's it? (and this was a prank, she couldn't take it)

Who is the two-faced, hateful, sly person now? You people are hypocrites...

Tim didn't create groups to bully one specific housemate. Tim created groups and different dynamics, but even those who didn't like him had other friends in the house.

Benjamin teamed up with other housemates to bully one person. Tim could be funny and argue with people, even without backup. I doubt Ben would have been so confident without Stacey, Michael and Zoe backing him all the time.

Not to mention, Tim was nice with both Tahan and Jade at finale, whereas Benjamin could help but bitch about Estelle, even on their last night in the house. And the way he celebrated when Stella was evicted.
