They both outlasted all other players and received the most votes in the finale week. I can not for the life of me see how we could label either unworthy?

I think Ben was carried a lot of the way by Stacy, if it wasnt for that friendship I don't think he would have made it far. Tim stuck to himself, and bought entertainment to the show without the help of others.
I think while many of us would have preferred someone else than Tim to win. He was in no way an unworthy winner. Ben was however. Many people really didn't like him at all, then his fans seemed to completely miss the fact the guy was a world class prick.

I liked Ben and completely missed the Prick part lol
But I didn't really watch a lot last year, mostly evictions waiting for Estelle to get booted. I've never been able to pin point what it was but Estelle made it unwatchable, there's always been housemates I didn't like but something about her got under my skin. I even tuned out when I saw her on an eviction show this year :/

Agree with the majority in regards to Ben. Words cannot describe how much Ben was undeserving as last year's winner. TIM IS WORTHIER BY A LANDSLIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt horrible after last years finale. I felt like we rewarded nastiness. Still can't believe he tossed Estelle's horse over the fence when she went in the way he did.
Tim made this years show. He was fun, entertaining and had a caring and nice part to him as well.

Tim was alright, but he came across as a spoiled child that whinged too much. On a bias note, I just thought, with Ben being evicted early, it was rather sad to see Tim go through.
Btw, I don't get the universal consensus of the hatred towards Benjamin. Hell, even Ben '13 was mostly disliked (who was an angel compared to Benjamin). What's this for, is it because they're gay or what?

I think both Ben 12 and Tim 13 shared a common manipulative persona as well as a caring, lovely side....consoling, mediating, counselling. If Estelle was in this years' series, Tim would have tried a relationship with her then offered her up as the next sacrifice... all the while wearing a smile.

That's exactly right, but it seems like, mysteriously, Ben is much more hated (despite them being similar). I personally thought (since I'm not so blinded like many people here) that Tim was as two-faced and sly as Ben (arguably worse even), but yet he has to get the universal hate? I just can't buy this.
I mean...Tim constantly nominated his friends. Ben didn't (okay, he nommed Zoe once, but that's it; just ONCE). Not to mention, some of the housemates hated Tim's guts and started to fight/argue with him (Jasmine, Ed, Tully, Boog, MIKKAYLA). With Ben, um, Angie sort of told him off about her bear, and that's it? (and this was a prank, she couldn't take it)
Who is the two-faced, hateful, sly person now? You people are hypocrites...
From the % results last night, it is obvious that the Tim fans represented on the forums this year were totally out of proportion with the reality of who votes, and how much they vote. There was only 2% in it!!
A bit off topic but... I think Jade's fans ended up predominantly hiding in her appreciation thread due to the disgraceful comments that were thrown around about her (and Ed) on many of the threads. I really hope this dynamic isn't in place next year as it made it very difficult for many people to post freely for fear of a core of aggressive posters or continual, degrading slagging of other poster's favourites.

Tim is a lone wolf, at least he treated everyone pretty equally...no favourites.
Ben, along with Stacey created a gang mentality that isolated Estelle and later (for associating with Estelle) Ava.
Yes, I'll give him that...Tim showed no favouritism and treated everyone equally like shit, depending on who was next on his (s)hit list!!! He chopped and changed alliances as often as he changed his beloved undies!! He also created a gang mentality/groups and I don't think he even knew who he really liked towards the end. They were all just faceless pawns to him at the end. I didn't like that.

Last year's finale felt really off for me. Ben couldn't even contain his nastiness during the finale and Layla went right along with it.
The final 5 this year were so much better and I loved seeing Tim acting like a big brother to Jade when it was just the 2 of them left. "I believed in you when you didn't believe in yourself"... now that's good TV!

I loved Tim's time in the house. I think he was an excellent housemate. One of the best!
I wasn't as calculated as him and I was no way near as smart either. I agree that I was lucky to have Stacey but I was also lucky to have Michael and Josh. Without those three I was nothing.
The cast makes the show. Our cast were all amazing. While this year it was all about Tim, Ben and Tully. Who carried the show.
Can't wait for series 11. I am officially excited.
