BBUK returns Sun 8 Oct 2023 (and Celeb BB back in 2024)

The two interviews were like night and day - though that's due to the interviewees rather than interviewers.

Have always thought with BBUK the best place for the biggest character to leave is one week from the final - they get their own moment, a decent interview and time on the spin offs afterwards rather than just a few minutes of finale then packed off to obscurity.

Ive caught right up now over the past week or so from Where I left off after episode 2 or 3 in the first week.

I've been skipping Late and Live except for the Eviction interview episodes just so I can catch up a bit quicker, Skimmed a bit of some of the others (might go over a few more now I've caught up) Theyre ok, some funny intro gags ala old BBLB but not quite as engaging as the old school Big Mouth I've been watching through atm with the guests and rowdy audience more on a stricter time limit of half hour ("Hold on Nanny's got a phone call! settle down!") But its had some interesting takes here and there.

On the subject of Will part of his fringe came down on one of the BBLL's which was distracting, then last weeks eviction show the left side was down which threw off the slicked look a little bit I think! Haha make up couldve been onto that between ad breaks? lol.

Anyway going back a bit I think yeah the discussing nominations thing with Yinrun and just now this week with Chanelle and Olivia were pretty vague, But I can also see the other side of it well yeah it can be percieved as speculation and influence a bit even if its pretty vague.

also with BB potentially trying to manufacture drama a little bit with the whole Halloween blow up. At first I was thinking well why not then show them the footage now you've exposed Noky and Trish like that but then again that mightve just been a little too much manipulation on top off all that already.

They brought it back a bit by not telling them about the double until it happened, but also you had The Paul at Yinrun's party thing which was a bit sus. Why did they have it in the house with the others looking overhead and not in the special side room again? Paul mentioned it as if BB made it that way so they could specifically heckle them from the grandstand. hmm.

Anyway theres been a few of them that have yo-yoed a bit in my rankings, Dylan and Paul went and got themselves looking a bit knobbish after both those incidents 'Black on Black Crime' and the Bully thing. It was a bit hard to follow what the original thing with Paul/Noky was about too - something about the Kiss cam thing and him writing Olivia? or his behaviour what it must reflect on being his girlfriend or something along those lines.

Jordan, Henry and Matty is similarly a little bit puzzling at times, like theres moments of soooo whats the actual issue here? I think the three of them getting a bit to in their heads about what their friendship/attraction/relationship boundaries is or isnt and start speaking gibberish trying to sort it out with each other in some scenes lol.

I think Trish is starting to come out as a bit of a dark horse though and looking fairly level headed and good out of some of this Drama along with Noky, whereas Tom/Jenkin/Chanelle/Olivia crowd are starting to get a bit of a dislikable/bitter tangent as we get into the nitty gritty end of the season (which as has been discussed could definitely do with a few more weeks/trimmed numbers trade off to get a little more oompf out of it).

Chanelle rivals some of Yinrun's naive moments with the discussions about how many Moons there are in Earth's sky, and who is Cleopatra.

Atm I think I'd like to see Yinrun/Jordan/Trish in top 3. Will do a bit of a rank in a sec.
The “Black on black crime” comment was both hilarious and so pathetic.
Hilarious because he may as well have just self evicted right after saying it.
Watching him trying to damage control it was pathetic, and if I had been on the show I would have been seriously considering telling him to just walk out the door now because you’re done.

Anyone else not like Olivia? Have fallen behind with my BB watching, so I'm not sure if she's still there but I really think she's a pot stirring little attention seeker.
I can’t deal with looking at that plastic surgery mess she has done to her face.
Her personality is just as bad.

Just watched the eviction. Chanelle going was a forgone conclusion. I was at least happy the crowd didn’t just boo her. But Trish going was a genuine shock, especially after hearing the crowds chants.

I was pleased Olivia got a mixed reception. I think she is someone who can redeem herself after a bad episode, it just takes her a day or two to realise she may have been wrong. As for Noky I find her underwhelming and I would have fathered loose her. Jenkin has an army out there regardless of the crowd reception.

I’m happy for Trish to leave at a massive high being loved by the crowd. She is definitely victim to the simple vote to evict method. I was genuinely ready to concede that she was the winner after hearing those chants. I too had my jaw hit the floor, and agree that was probably the most shocked I’ve been from RTV in a very long time.

Chanelle went on to prove she is deluded during her eviction interview. Good on Will and AJ for not only being as pragmatic as possible but also being able to guide her to actually admit her lie. I don’t fully believe a lot of her answers, but I think she was mostly embarrassed and had an issue with admitting things that she knew were true.

As expected this week is going to see multiple evictions as suggested by AJ. Which I think is the right way to go for the final week with a bloated cast. Ideally there will be no more than 4 finalists. So that either means we need two doubles or a double and two singles. Just as long as they are not back door evictions.

Yinrun has this locked.

I hope for Yinrun or Jordan to win.
Their personalities are fascinating and I can’t predict what they will do or say.
Honestly I think it's down to Yinrun and Henry now. Support for him is growing week by week while Jordan's support is waning.

If Henry was to win I would honestly be so dissapointed. Not that I don't like him, but that would be super underwhelming. He's likeable and there is no way you can watch the love triangle story without feel sympathy for him, but that really is it.

As for Jordan I am so over his obsession with Matty. One minute he tells him they can't speak and need to have distance and then the next minute he's playing around and so obviously flirting. He's not only fucking with Henry's emotions but also Matty's. Matty has made it quite clear it's just being playful and nothing more, and he has also let Jordan know it really is hurtful to constantly have to have space from each other just because he can't deal with his emotions. Jordan can be super likeable when he isn't being obsessed with Matty, but the man needs to seriously seek some help to figure out how to deal with emotions correctly. He is hurting people.

With Trish being evicted it is Yinrun's to lose. All of Trish's fans will more than likely be passing their votes over to Yinrun.

True. Imagine if someone like Jenkin wins due to all the FB people voting for them.... I would prefer anyone over him apart from Tom

Henry blew it this week with his Boris comment. I think it's likely between Jordan and Yinrun, but much depends how nominations fall. Very suspicious they won't tell us how the evictions are happening.

You think casual viewers will remember 1 comment from the whole series when voting for their winner?

Yep, because it's over an issue which hurt so many. I don't think he'd get evicted over it but it will stop him winning.
