BBUK returns Sun 8 Oct 2023 (and Celeb BB back in 2024)

Apparently the record of the live launch had to be suspended because a boat full of drunk people turned up via the canal to crash proceedings.

Can't help but feel if back in the day BBAU had been filmed riverside that's exactly what the Behind BB crew would have done too.
 
Wow the house looks fantastic! I can see how there is some resemblance to BBAU’s house, but this looks much more like what I’d expect a modern BB house to look like. It looks way more permanent. I like that’s unlike ours there’s actual two way mirrors, but not an overuse of them.

I agree the bathroom is huge, I’d prefer more space to be given to the backyard but I still think it looks amazing.

Finally, I’m excited for a Big Brother season for the right reasons.

Yes, it doesn't look like they'd be changing the layout every year although C5 got into a routine of only making major changes every two years and that worked well enough to give up to four fairly unique house designs every two years.
 
For those who watched the best bits special how did you access it? I have express VPN but every time I go to watch it on the ITV website it says sorry this isn't available right now, and the ITV live streaming of the channel won't work either.
 
This being the very first shot of the revival made me think "ew... BBAU vibes". 😂

They're quite early C5 which featured close up of the HMs.

BBUK socials uploading the HM intros as they ho in - not sure if viewable outside UK.

Sadly already had a pointless task of musical statues with BB interacting with the HMs as if he's a kids party DJ. Really isn't something they should have taken from BB Aus.

Yes, I hope they go old school and use the different voices.
Though this voice isn't anywhere near as bad as the season 1 of ch7bbau
