BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

I PRAY BBAU does not use background music and musical montages. Also very distracting. I don’t feel like a fly on the wall.
Seven's use of music was particularly annoying and unnecessary. Although watching the marathons, Ten used them for packaged montages at times, which is fine, but using music for dramatic purposes during usual house activities and conversations etc... just NO. Absolutely not.

Yup, exactly what I was referring to. The UK has been doing it since the switch. Too bubble-gum-pop-esque. The general reality of the day-to-day highlight shows does not need underlying mood music. Packages with music shown in live episodes is a different thing. One thing 10 did, particularly during season 6, was have that ominous tone and mood lighting for nominations. It's just too much.

Needless to say, in keeping with the general topic of this thread, I hope the house isn't over the top.

I just drove past this again, it looks quite dirty and couldn't see anything except the normal industrial lights along the roof.

So maybe they haven't started construction on it yet, or that isn't going to be the stage 🤔

Based on that, and the fact that no construction has been reported in the old car park (now the dirt lot), that "amphitheater" is the only logical spot for live evictions. No other area makes sense. Even then, it apparently has support posts everywhere which would be a nightmare for any sort of filming or tv production.

However, with a month to go, I would've expected some sightings of construction activity there. The facilities to the east of the exhibition centre seem to make the most sense for production and gallery housing.

That's not to say there wasn't anything happening at floor level 👀

It's just from what I could see, there wasn't anything different to what I saw about 3 or so months ago from the same viewpoint.
