You're probably not wrong. In retrospect I don't really understand why they didn't just use an existing/purpose built structure from the get-go. This would just eliminate any plans for add-ons or expansions -- a house next door, an in-ground pool, games arena, animal pens, etc. These add-ons are probably a thing of the past anyway.There were some people who expected ITV to move to a permanent building and had similar reasonings with test runs etc, yet, they just moved to another studio because it was probably more convenient and cheaper for them. Same will go for 10 and Dreamworld... If the studio-type setting works for them in regards to noise, space, filming, house tours afterwards, etc. and if they won't need the space for other projects, there isn't really an incentive for them to move into a purpose-built house.
