I was on Jokers for several years and was a channel op in their chat for quite a while. That site seems frozen in time though. I don't know why they stick with that forum platform from the 1990s.

good lord channel op...nope we had a group gathered mostly brits and yanks partially because of BBusa (the Brits were all about BBuk) but there was also the olympics & all things royal so we got used to meeting exchanging links to watch (mostly reality telly & royal stuff)
Our sysop would slingshot US shows after stripping the commercials & the Brit sysop did the same
We'd sometimes skype which dissolved into laughter because no one knew he was scots, or liverpudlian or even welsh
it was & is hilarious but they don't like spoilers so I'm a stranger in a strange land here
