NBN FTTP

National Broadband Network Fibre To The Premises.

Abbott and Turnbull aren't going to give FTTP to everyone, but my area started build prior to the election.

If your area hasn't started, you'll likely get FTTN fibre To The Node which still relies on aging copper from the nodes to your house.

Mine is around 3.5 Mpbs and that's average I think. Some friends houses are around the 6 - 7 Mpbs which is quite good.

that's mine right now, kind of sucks cos people around here have it (newer houses mostly) but we've not got it yet, I'm in Narellan area

EDIT: And we do have 1-2 laptops, 2 tablets, 2 desktop computers and DVR and xBox, PS4 and Wii connected to it.

My mum gets 16-20mbps.

NBN will be minimum 25mbps and maximum (for now) 100mbps
