2014 Today I ......

I just need to remember why I cut it in the first place. I wanted bouncy layered hair, like the women around me had. I wanted to be able to leave it out when I go somewhere instead of tying it back because of the wind. So it will be a nice change I hope. I have not been without my long locks in so long that this will be a nice change I'm sure. And yes you're right, hair grows back, shouldn't define myself by the hair I wear lol
Wow you are braver than I am! The last time I got my hair cut was around Christmas... So 6 months ago and I got a lot cut off and it was still fairly long and I hated it! But this shorter do will be a lot easier for you to maintain, one of the things I dislike about my hair is windy days and having to tie it up. I hope you enjoy your new look!

I figured go short or don't bother cutting it if it won't make a difference... Plus I was just in a spontaneous mood. I hope maintenance will be easier now. I won't deny that I have looked at myself a million times now and pulling facials to see how my face looks now. I can't believe you have gone without a haircut since Christmas, you definitely missed your long hair eh lol

"Today I ..." found the following and thought of our Tralalalalala. :D

Sounds familiar ?

Should do, coz it is somebody else's non-video clip youtube version of my "home track" vid called "echoes" on youtube channel found here: https://www.youtube.com/user/derspatz48

Today I ..." couldn't help but lol @ Avi's latest mix of his awesome Darkness Rip-off "Middle earth" song found here: http://www.kompoz.com/music/collaboration/87242/files, and chuckled @ what my sax contributions had morphed into.

Not nearly as audible as my intentionally chaotic multiple sax types contributions here: http://www.kompoz.com/music/collaboration/87378/file/389306 (that I presumed a goodly number of would NOT have made it to final mix).

Bit disappointed that an awesome projected by somebody else has completely disappeared from Kompoz, complete with my oh-so-smooth sax(s) audition mix. :(

Ah, but I still have a mix, so here ya go ... unlisted for (c) reasons. ;-) Must be the fastest tube I've ever thrown together !

So, Trala, are we really happy ... lost in this masquerade ? :D

Like ? :)

Today I tried Almond Milk for the first time and it was yummy. I was a little scared to tried it probably because of the word milk, but thankfully it taste nothing like regular milk. I've also made a promos to myself that I will cut down on the coffee. I've only had 1 today and although I have a no caffeine headache, i'll just suck it up and take a few panadols if it get too bad.

@Sweetgeek Yes I love my long hair as a kid my mum would always make me cut my hair short and now that I can keep it long I will.

Almond milk is my preferred option too. I love it, I use it in my shakes instead of milk and it's so nice with porridge. I only use milk with my coffee. I buy the unsweetened version though so i add maple syrup to it sometimes.

"Tonight I ..." am re-watching "The Stand" with lscp and we never realized before that the first music "NEEDS MORE COWBELL". lol

I.E.

IS ...

anyhoo, since there is no Walking Dead or Revolution goin @ the moment, perhaps the following might tempt folk over to Mr King as at least some sort of stop gap ? He does a (IMHO poor) cameo BTW.

Tonight it was movie night with my three year old boy and we watched monsters inc. at the end when sully walks in and says boo and smiles my boy just cried out loud. My heart broke for the little man. He said that he was sad because sully doesn't see boo. So I explained to him that he does and that even though we can't see boo, she says sully and that's why he is smiling. Rewind the end so he can hear it but again he cries again. Made me cry my eyes out too. I let him sleep next to me while I comforted him and I could see he slept with sadness in his eyes. I had no idea that was going to be the reaction from him but mostly I was taken back by his feelings, didn't know that I could love as hard as I do but realise that every pain he will feel, I will feel just as much.

That's a really cute story. Just don't ever let your kids watch Up, they'll be clinically depressed after watching it. I was in tears in the first 5 minutes.

Have not watched this. But it is on my hard drive and was one of the movies we were going to watch, glad we didn't now. I'm choosing my movies carefully.

"Today I ..." found this to be well worth the re-read, especially in view of the following sort of thin.

Why have conservative newspaper commentators been more successful than the left wing in capturing public debate? After reading this book I am tempted to answer "because they write better".

...

We would be better off if the left would stop lathering up about newspaper columnists and instead concentrate on speaking to their fellow citizens, articulating alternative narratives in clear language.
