Yeah the split schedule is a bit of a mess. Maybe they should have just put it on Go! nationwide and promoted the crap out of it.I've been seeing people from Sydney and Brisbane on Facebook saying that they didn't even know the show was on last night, so hope

So will the footy be ending in a few weeks so that BB can go back to 9 on Fridays?
I hope so.
Will be a bit annoying if they scrap the Friday show so then there is only 5 days a week with a show.

Annoys me that 9 didn't advertise at least once during the show Thursday night that the next show was going to be on Friday. I only knew about the change because of Facebook, if I didn't see the Facebook share then I would have tuned in on 9 at 8.30 not knowing and I would have missed it.
I don't follow NRL but I am pretty sure there is only two more Friday nights taken up by it in Sydney and Brisbane.
Here is an interesting comparison: on the same Friday night last year, Friday September 13, the combined total audience for Big Brother between Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth was 247 thousand, this year 224 thousand. Of course, last year we did not have the issue with Sydney and Brisbane, as the show aired at 7pm prior to the NRL.

They REALLY should have advertised that fact DURING the Thursday night show.
Instead, they plastered Fakebook with it, and people still missed it.![]()
They should also add a ticker on the screen during the week, to run every say, 10 min's advising of the timeslots for each State on Friday nights.

They will probably take up half of Sunday nights programme now, as a catch up for the ones that didn't see it on Friday. I still don't know why it couldn't have been on 9, either before or after the football. It would have been easier to advertise a time change, than a channel change. Not everyone bothers with GEM and GO, because those back channels are just full of repeats. The NRL only rated in 6th place with 792,000.

That is really poo. GenPop were probably not used to having BB on Sundays after last year... Probably needs The Block as a lead in too...
