@Tin Bum so basically it's an article reporting on Candice taking her cat out for a walk on her front lawn. nothing more, nothing less. there's no quote from Candice, no approach for a quote, nothing of any substance or relevance, certainly nothing deemed "newsworthy". does this mean they're sitting outside her house waiting to spot her so they can take a snap to go with this garbage? i don't understand the fascination with her/Lawson. they're not Brad & Ange, Jay Z & Beyonce, they're not even Kanye & Kim. he's basically a sparky/part-time actor/part-time magician/entertainer & she's basically a student...they were going through some tough times & he's decided to cheat on her & move-on without having had the proper conversation with her yet. it happens a thousand times a day. i'm not having a go at you, all you did was re-post the article, i'm just saying the article was ludicrous, don't you think?

AFTER watching her boyfriend of four years cheat with another woman on national television, the partner of Big Brother housemate Lawson Reeves is now refusing to take his calls.
After leaving the reality show house last night, the 23-year-old apprentice electrician from Perth reached out to Candice Leeder to explain his very public affair with fellow contestant Cat.

“Very understandably, she does not want to speak to me,” Reeves said today.
“She may never want to speak to me. If she does, I’ll be here to take the call or talk in person. It’s up to her and whatever her decision, I understand it.

“All I can say is that I’m sorry. I don’t need to explain the situation because it has been played out in front of all of Australia. It’s more just giving her a chance to speak to me.”

“I never intended for this to happen. I knew it was wrong. It just sort of happened. It’s horrible, it’s not a good thing.”
Another regret was telling Cat he loved her during a salacious conversation in the bedroom a few weeks ago, which he blamed on being drunk.
“We’ve spoken about that since. There was a lot of alcohol involved on that night and we both understand that.
“The word ‘love’ isn’t one to be thrown about. Even though we both have genuine feelings for each other, neither of us feel that it’s love.”

Despite speculation, Reeves denied claims from a show source that suggested he and Cat had been ‘physical’ with each other while in the house.
“It didn’t go any further than what you saw on television. I can’t do anything about rumours. We didn’t (have sex). Nothing like that happened.”
But that’s the least of his concerns today, he said. Reeves is aware that the road ahead will be bumpy, particularly when he and Cat discuss their next steps together.

“I have to wait until she’s out to have a conversation with her to decide where we go from here. We didn’t discuss the finer details of it while we were in the house. I had already been thinking of moving, but it could be anywhere.
“I want to chase an actor career, a job in radio or follow some sort of line with my magic. Wherever that takes me, I don’t know. It might be Melbourne, it might be Sydney. I’ll play it by ear.”

Mere hours after his Eviction, we sat down with Lawson for a no-holds-barred interview about his prime-time betrayal of long-term girlfriend Candice.
Away from the live audience and fresh from being filled on all things Clawson – Lawson opens up and gives the lowdown on a life less private beyond Big Brother’s walls.
On calling Candice...
I have not spoken to Candice as of yet. I’ll be making that phone call as soon as I get back to my hotel room. [I feel] nervous but it is like ripping off a bandaid. I don’t even know what’s going to happen in that conversation or what she’s going to say but I will cop it on the chin.
On the first thing he’ll say...
Sorry. After that she’s going to want to have things to say to me. I don’t have any explanations for her. She has watched as much as she has watched so it’s not like I need to explain the situation because she knows it. I can only apologise and give her the chance to say what she needs to say.
On what happens if she doesn’t answer...I will not call again tonight because she doesn’t want to speak to me. She knows that I’m out now. I’ll try again tomorrow. If she still doesn’t want to talk to me then I’ll speak to her when I’m back in Perth face-to-face.
On what happened before Lockdown...
Like any relationship it has its up’s and down’s. We had come to points where we decided we weren’t for the best [but] we’d always come back together because we missed the good times … So when I found out I was going into the House, we ran out of time to discuss and sort out our problems. In the last week [before Lockdown] we just decided to make things good between us and resolve it once I got out.
On how he’s feeling putting Candice in the public eye...
Terrible I think. I didn’t even think that she was doing exams at the moment. On top of everything else and having to deal with that and trying to do well in her exams is very selfish I think. I’ve said it before – and I’ll continue to say – that’s the one thing that’s going to cut me up inside. I can deal with anything that happens to myself but dragging her through the mud is going to be the hardest thing.
On how Candice will be dealing with the betrayal...
She would be just spending time with her family, her Mum especially; her Mum’s a very wise woman and has good things to say. More than likely [she] probably wants to lock herself in her room. I don’t know. Yeah. Poor girl. I really – I think – She would be struggling a lot unfortunately.
On the social media backlash...
I don’t think that anything I say is going to stop [people] ripping into me, they’re going to rip into me regardless. They have something to say – they have an opinion and everybody is entitled to their own opinion. The only way they can express it is through being a keyboard warrior. They’re never going to see me to my face and if they did they probably wouldn’t be able to say what they really want to say. It really just depends on how I handle what they say and I don’t think they’re going to affect me because I don’t even know them and they don’t know me. But they’re allowed to have their opinion. I’m allowed to have mine. And they’re never going to understand from my point of view.
On his friends judging him...
I’d be stupid for thinking people weren’t going to judge me for just going on to Big Brother. It’s a natural thing to judge people. I think my close friends – and my true friends – won’t. But I’m always going to be judged.
On whether he thought he’d REALLY get away with what he did in The Sanctuary....
I’m not an idiot. I wasn’t hiding that fact from Australia because you’d be stupid to think anything was hidden from Australia. It was then more the fact of hiding it from our Housemates. Pulling the blanket over our heads – it wasn’t like that was my idea or what I intended to happen because I had previously already offered to sleep on the couch but maybe with refreshments involved I was quite easily persuaded.
On Clawson...
I think Cat’s going to more upset with that than me because that has my entire name in it and just one letter from Cat so I think she’s going to be more upset than me. I didn’t even think about that coming out that there was going to be a relationship name?!
On Clawson escaping to Bali...
I am going to Bali. Whether or not Cat decides to come with me – I can’t speak for her, I can only speak for myself but I will definitely need to get away and I’d be happy for her to come along.
On whether he loves Cat...
Love is a big thing to throw around, just like hate, I don’t think that I love Cat but I have strong feelings for her which is obvious. I’m not just going to throw away what I had for something that I didn’t have strong feelings for.
On whether he’ll shake the tag of a cheating-loverat...
I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think I’ll ever shake the tag but people would be naïve to think that this sort of thing doesn’t happen every day. Maybe it was a stupid thing to happen on national television but it did and I really did try to fight that. I am still a good person and still have done good things and will continue to do good things and whether or not I shake that, I’m just going to say ‘cop it on the chin’ and whether that decides whether I become a magician or an actor – that’s totally up to me.
On whether Clawson is for now or for always...
I think that relationships in Big Brother are very often short-lived and I think that comes down to that when you’re in the House – life doesn’t get in the way. All you have is your company. You can’t know whether or not you’ll get along on the outside because you both have to work, you both have to do things, you’re not going to be spending 24 hours a day together. Relationships on the outside sometimes only last 6 to 12 months so it’s just the way it goes. I couldn’t tell you what will happen when Cat leaves – I’m not that good a magician.
On if roles were reversed...
If Candice was in the Big Brother House and I was in her shoes I think it would be hard for me to understand because I hadn’t been in the Big Brother House and understand how much feelings can be magnified and you are put into this eco-system and all you have is people. I would still obviously be as upset as she is going to be feeling but it’s not the way it is. I can only imagine how she’d feel.

One of the most controversial housemates of Big Brother 2014 has been evicted… Lawson!
For those who don’t know, Lawson is the housemate who hooked up with Cat even though he was in a long term relationship with Candice on the outside.
Lawson told Sonia Kruger that he’s pretty sure he’s dumped…
Lawson admitted to Jules, Merrick and Sophie that his relationship with his girlfriend Candice is well and truly over.
"I don't think that relationship (with Candice) will continue... I couldn't ever look any of her family in the eye. Walking down the street my face is going to be one that's known and hers isn't and they're only ever going to think that she's the idiot that stayed with the goose"
After being evicted last night he's attempted to get in touch with his girlfriend with no success, "So far I have tried to make contact but understandably she is not ready to speak to me. Look she needs time and however much time that is, is up to her"
Lawson admitted things weren't smooth sailing before going into the Big Brother house. "Every relationship has its ups and its down and we had both of those... about 5 years we've been together which is a very long time." DESPITE kissing another woman’s boyfriend on national television, Big Brother evictee Cat Law won’t apologise to her beau Lawson Reeve’s heartbroken ex for the affair.
The 31-year-old midwife from Melbourne said she has already copped some public criticism for the controversial relationship, but doesn’t care what people think about her.

“I’m happy to take ownership of my actions and talk about it honestly, and that’s how I’ve been coping with it today,” Law said.
“Every time you have a critic, you’ve got supporters as well. I’ve got people supporting me. I can choose to look at every bit of criticism, but I don’t care.”

While Reeves has issued repeated public apologies, both from inside the house and since being evicted on Monday night, Law was not as keen to comment.

Now that their reality television experience is over, she and Reeves — eight years her junior — have some big decisions to make.
For one, he lives in Perth where he’s an apprentice electrician and she holds down a demanding job in Melbourne.

Law’s departure from the house last night followed the eviction of fellow housemate Aisha McKinnon, who leaves behind a romance of her own.
The 22-year-old retail assistant fell head over heels for Melbourne importer Travis, 24, and remains smitten with the “bogan”.

After being single for two years and typically preferring “the shy, quiet guy”, McKinnon found herself paired with a larger than life larrikin.

“He absolutely surpassed everything I expected to get out of this experience,” she said. “It was definitely him chasing at first, but he did a really good job. He has a beautiful mind, which everyone is surprised to hear.

“He might seem like this Aussie bogan but once you get to know the real Trav it’s clear he has a lot of layers.
“He has a massive deep side and he’s very thoughtful. He’s easy on the eye as well, so that helps.”
The pair will also have some big decisions to make in the months ahead, including who moves cities. But that’s for later — for now, McKinnon is keen to “live in the now” with her new man.
“We want to be in each other’s lives for the long haul so we’ll see which city wins.”
Big Brother airs on GO! (due to the cricket) tonight at 8.30pm.
