Also, it kind of looks like the bottom cushion has a blanket/covering over it, maybe for protection, so it's possible it is still the blue upholstery underneath that we have seen previously
 
And the chair is different again. The b105 & 2DayFM pics & videos show the frame of the back is white instead of gold.

Looking at the second pic, you're right. It must be a highly reflective gold paint.

And just to add more, has that bedroom changed colour or are there two bedrooms that are the same/similar layout?

I agree. It does seem a bit plain compared to past Diary Rooms however the chair is nice. I do think that it might have proven difficult to find materials, colours, other furniture etc to rightly compliment the chair (if the chair was selected first) so in a way I can understand. :)

Yeah, the only thing I'm not fond of at the moment is the DR wallpaper.

The chair: love it.

The concept of being up in the sky, with a staircase leading to the DR: love it even more.

The execution of the actual cloud wallpaper: awful, it just looks cheap.

Yeah, and the corner behind the chair doesn't work too well either. Maybe it'll look better on television.
