FuninoneB - boxed sets are not that easy to find at the moment, I had to get them from different shops; 2006 i got at ezydvd; 2005 at JBhifi. Ezydvd usually has the lot but the 2005 sets had to be sent back as faulty.
Watched the final Trochwood then Doc on saturday, and phew what a exciting combination, fantastic TV, craps all over anything else on offer at the moment.

OMG are the faulty sets only at ezydvd? What is the fault? I got the 2005
set from the ABC shop and haven't opened it yet.

By faulty sets do you mean those which jump and go a bit funny during the Slitheen two-parter? Mine do that. I keep meaning to buy replacements and sell the faulty ones on eBay...

oh no kxk that sucks i hate that when it happens... i haven't seen the last torchwood hmm or many other eps yet lol i will get around to it soon :)

I don't know what the fault is just that ezydvd were sending them back to the distributor after they had been returned.
All of mine are just fine everything working perfectly, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it all there to enjoy whenever I feel like a bit of Doctor, with extras etc.

Hmmmmm... found this while surfing

So I take it from what you
say that the Master at some point in time did the same trick the Doctor
did and use the chameleon thingy in his TARDIS to become human, then
forgot he was a Time Lord but yet ended up with a pocket watch that
was just like the one the Doctor made, which makes me think that
all TARDISES must have the same set up, at least in this version of
Doctor Who

WHY The Master ended up human is revealed next episode.

However when they use the "chameleon thingy" not only is their phsyiology transformed into that of a human, but all their memories as Time Lords are erased and replaced with fake memories. So it's not a case of forgetting he was a Time Lord, his memory was erased. However like all memory wipes there are residual things, all of which will be explained in the next episode.

The next episode where we have a lovely flashback sequence to Gallifrey.

Thanks for that Burn..

But that is what got me confuseed hehe... It would seem that whenever
a timelord does this thing with the chameleon circuit they all get the same
kind of pocket watch thing. At least that's how I read it since it did look like
the one the Doc had. So all TARDISES must have the same bits.

Do they really call it the "Chameleon Circuit"? Because that's wrong.

The chameleon circuit is what enables Tardises to take on any shape they choose. The Doctor's buggered up in the early days hence being stuck as the Police call box.

Unless the phsysiology altering thing is an extension of the chameleon circuit it's self. And I would assume the pocket watch is simply a standard feature for the machine.

Perhaps. My current concern is, how are we going to get the Tardis back from the evil Timelord himself.... The Master!!!!

Bring on the weekend... bring on the next episode !

You didn't find it odd that at the end of time Professor Yana just happened to have a computer that utilised the old tape storage method?

Not that The Master's Tardis ever looked like that ... especially in Logopolis ...

I think it's referred to as "the Chameleon Arch" in the Family story line? Anyway it's clearly meant to be a feature of all Tardii - :) - so let's focus on the coming goodness on Saturday.

Feh, Tom Baker couldn't hold a candle to Jon Pertwee. I don't care what popular opinion says, I am right damn it!

I agree.
I watched 90% more Pertwee than Baker due to logistics, so perhaps I'm biased. I particularly remember Pertwee's companion , Jo Grant skipping around in mini skirts and 70s boots in many episodes. Very pleasant viewing I recall.
